In this case, this doesn't look like its completely a Cogent issue. You might want to talk to your ISP about the packet drop so close to your entry point into the Internet...
No need ... results taken couple of hours after hurricane , cyclone , typhoon or what ever that fcking storm was hited my place ... so you have to forgive them ... i nearly lost my house who care about few packet drops :P
On the other hand my game still not working so ..

You sure about this, as a 2% Packet drop is bad enough by itself to cause the symptoms your describing.... At the very least, you should retest to see if your ISP packet drop is still there or has gone away...

With all due respect, you or Grouchy aren't Cryptic or PWE employees. So when it comes to fixing STO, people want the real deal (I.E. real Cryptic techs).
So what I suggest is you make a Problem-Fix FAQ, list all the common problems that occur, along with their suggested fixes. Then direct players who have these problems to that thread. It's far more effective than you insulting them.
Best solution ever. People are having problems. What should we do - try to fix it or ignore them? I know lets make the them to shut up. It is pretty clear that the boston thing is the problem.
LoL ofc people didn't paying attention to what you 2 where saying because you are completely IGNORING problem and "grouchyotaku" is trying to blame any one who don't have perfect results with diagnostic that it's their problem and not cryptic ..
like those droped packs in my post they can be because my ISP is not working as intended but it can be because other ISP-s on the path are experiencing problems like overload or hardware problems / software or just as i wrote we had some storm at our region happy to be alive ... but noooo it's my ISP no question asked ... nothing else straight and fast as lightning answer YOUR ISP ... how the fck you know it's my ISP ?

If you compare the 'Trace Route' with your earlier postings, the connection route is taking a completely different path... Looks like your ISP changed something... Could your complaints to your ISP possibly have anything to do with this???
No problems with Steam, Firefox, automatic updates of my programs etc. etc.

The 100% may be a false positive, but there's Dropped Packets at the Cogent Boston Hub. At the same time, you should contact your Comcast Tech Support, as you should be having ZERO Packet Drop from Comcast...
You could also try the 'US Proxy' options in the Launcher Options Menu. This may or may not bypass the network congestion you're having, and it doesn't hurt to try, as you can always change the settings back if it doesn't work...
