Where do YOU park your toons?

tucana66tucana66 Member Posts: 710 Arc User
Given the many social zones (and the many areas of the game to get DOff missions), where do YOU like to park your toons?

Pre-Season 9.5, I had a tendency to fly to various maps, plus replay some missions -- and also level up a new FED SCI character. With exploration removed post-Season 9.5, I'm mostly doing the following:

* KDF toon: Parked in the KDF shipyard for repairs, if I run out of repair components (minor/major/critical components) from Elite STFs; or hanging at the Klingon Academy on Qo'noS.
* ROM toon: Parked at DS9, mostly for DOff missions, bank.
* FED toons: One at Starfleet Academy (or up to ESD for ship repairs after Elite STFs, if I'm out of components); one who's Dilithium mining at Vlugta (or Fleet mining zone); two in Dyson for DOff missions/bank. On occasion, I might leave a character on Drozana Station.

EDIT: Kinda funny to think about: I used to leave one of my toons at Memory Alpha to craft my AEGIS sets. Not any more!

On occasion, I'll fly to various former exploration zones (aka nebulas) to see what DOff missions are available.

Eventually, the reputation system will get filled out. I'm assuming I'll move around the maps again when I do. Until then, it's grind, grind, grind... mostly with STFs.

Then again, I might take my ROM for a mission in Pelia sector tonight... But I'll park my ROM back on DS9.

So, where do YOU park your toons?

Feds generally camp out at K7 or Joint Command, same with my Fed allied Romulan. My KDF generally is at Joint Command.

Wherever I happen to be when I log out, although that is generally Earth Spacedock, unless I decided that I actually want to do something with my time in-game.

All eight of them are parked in front of their respective Personnel Officers, waiting for the R&D supplies cooldown to finish so they can all do it again.

Well usually either in my ship's Ready Room or personal quarters. Sometimes my office in my Fleet Starbase.

Unfortunately, upon logging back in you're never there but back in space or Sector Space :/. Wish I could really wake up from my quarters bed and start the day like in real life.

Usually depends where I'm at when I log off.

Fed - Was at the Dyson Sphere Command since I was doing the Rep there.
KDF - Was at new Romulas since I was doing Rep there.
Romulan - At New Romulas since I'm still doing the Rep.

Fed looks like will be moved to ESD or the nearest Starbase once I do the Tuvok missions. To wait it out for Delta Expansion.
KDF will head to the Omega Fleet for the Borg missions.
Romulan will still be at New Romulas since she is half way done with Rep.

My Main always ends up parked at ESD. Since I use it to dump all of the vendor trash, sell any shinys on the exchange and purchase consumables to replace the ones Ive used. ESD is in general more asetheticaly pleasing then anywhere else in the game.

If I'm parking for an extended time, I usually hang out in Sol System - the ESD beam-out spawn, not the warp-in spawn.

I also try to spend time at Dyson Joint Command, but I just don't enjoy being there as much as I feel I should.
You're right. The work here is very important.

This is pretty much what I do.

Exception for me being that my main character hangs outside my fleet's Starbase, since I usually have fleet-related stuff to do with him, and it provides quick access to the other holdings.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

Used to park most of my characters just outside Dyson Joint Command. Since the crafting revamp, I've been keeping my characters closer to the academies. Been logging some of the Fed characters with their ships parked in one of the various drydocks around ESD these days(figure they're getting systems overhauled before the trek into the Delta Quadrant).

New rom command center waiting for evaluate rom boff @ 15 million.

However those got bugged out or stealth nerfed with doff "upgrade" in 9.5.

So, currently have everything on hold and where I'd normally doff through inactivity this time that aswell is benched.

Figure there isn't any point to anything until we know if t6 will be game over.

Home port is K-7/Ganalda, but we actually just camp out on the Cellship, which we keep open all the time. A significant number are also in front of the Kitty.

Right above the ground BZ, in the ground BZ, or in allied command with all 9. After getting T5 in all reps on all toons and not doffing or crafting there really isn't anywhere else to be. Unless you don't want some quick dil.

ESD for my Fed, and the Flotilla for my Rom.

But usually I'm just lazy, and conveniently hang around Dyson Sphere Joint Command, as it's got everything I tend to need (except the trainer).

Captain's table. At least I found an use for it...
It was better when it had a ship selector, but it still has the basics... bank, mail, exchange, trash buyer and peace and quiet.
