Not sure if anyone uses it but I just found a bug in the Gateway for Fleet holdings.
It does not apply the dilithum mine discount to the cost of projects. Although I have an upgrade running, when I view the project in the Gateway it shows several of the items are not full yet, with the contribute button clickable. Clicking it opens the donation window and you can select how much you want to donate to that project but it does not actually take the items and donate them and you get no FC.
This would probably be confusing to some and should really be fixed. The contribute buttons need to grey out when they are full and the donation targets need to match what they are in game with the dilithum mine discounts.
That's an old bug that I sent a ticket about when they first released the Dilithium Mine and my fleet got the first discount. They obviously don't care as it is still there and they obviously don't care about developing the gateway as it has been in Beta for 2 years.
Good to know. I have not looked at it for over a year as I normally just log on and just noticed that error so I thought I would mention it.
EDIT: Due to the change I have started to PvP again and since the chance I have not been 1 shot killed. The max spike damage BO does has goond down so now I can handel the hits.
Good for you. I had to make (another, I believe i'm getting closer to 20th) respec, reshuffle most of my traits and reorganize my boffs just to keep up with this insane change. So now I'm basically just a flying vat of heals resist buffs.

All I did was fit 2 sci consoles with 17% shield hit points with a high cap shield. I run 1 single EptS1 no TTS. that setup works on most ships and is more then enough to take a BO 3 hit.
Players just need to adapt. I tried an anti beam overload setup today and had no problem in PvP. Even after a cloak unaware I survived without too much problem.
The problem is most players focus on DPS only with 90% to 100% of gear towards DPS. 2 consoles that boost both hull resistance and extra hitpoint consoles is about all you need to survive beam overload at least with a cruiser. I did think about using 4 consoles towards tanking but found the x2 shield hitpoint consoles was over the top.
So far I am finding the new beam overload pretty balanced. No more crazy 100k crit hits, no more loss to DPS from using it. The damage range is far more reasonable.
Yeah, I noticed in his video that most of the shots were in the 30K range with all the other things going on. But the ships he was vaping were mostly escorts and Birds of Prey.
But a cruiser, with shield resistances and armor consoles even that nasty a crit is survivable. I mean if you get caught off guard sure it can wipe out a nice chunk of hull and leave you vulnerable to follow up attacks, but that's kind of the point of Beam Overload, to be the attack that crashes through your shields and does solid damage in one shot.
An escort or Bird of Prey is supposed to be the glass cannon I thought. It shouldn't be able to take massive hits. They evade.

I was shocked when they mentioned the gateway in the interview about Delta Rising.
"Rise like Lions after slumber, In unvanquishable number, Shake your chains to earth like dew, Which in sleep had fallen on you-Ye are many they are few"

Only + shield console I can slot w/o TRIBBLE with my build is the UR Sci Collimator console.
