Since 9.5 hit, no-one that I know has seen the Romulan Boff assignment at all.
The Doffjobs channel has also been saying that it's not appearing at all... so if you have seen the Romulan Boff assignment since 9.5 hit Holodeck, please say so, if you haven't also say so
Otherwise, it's yet another bug to attribute to 9.5.

I know its ment to be very rare but not seeing it in 4mths means its ultra rare
Can we please have it looked after?

They were close enough together that I actually thought to myself, "Hmm, I thought this mission was still on cooldown?"
Prior to 9.5 I hadn't seen it in a few months, despite checking religiously in Tau Dewa space and on the ground on New Romulus at every login.
Actually, thinking about it more, I think it is really 3 separate doff missions - one each for Tac, Sci, and Eng - which explains how I could get two so close together, as they were ... um, Sci and Eng if memory serves. Assuming the cooldown is really long and the rarity is Ultra rare, that'd easily make for some really long dry spells.
Anyway, to the original question, they don't appear to be completely broken, but has the frequency been reduced? I think only someone with access to Cryptic's metrics could say with any real certainty.

9.5 has only been out for 2 weeks.. Are you sure the assignments appeared for you after 9.5 went live?
I only ask, because every time this question has been asked in Doffjobs, the answer from everyone is always no.. If you did pick up the Rom Boff assignments after 9.5 hit, then you could be the only person to have seen it.. which would still mean it's way to rare.

After season 9.5, i have never seen it and i happen to check New Romulus like twice or more a day with about 3 toons.
As for cluster doffs assignments ... after season 9.5, i have encountered the B'tran one only once.
(weirdly enough, another thing I've noticed is that all SROs generated via the assignment have superior acute senses as the second superior trait, superior soldier/plasma weapon specialist/etc are possible but only available from boffs awarded at level 45...)

There's no way that I'm the only one to have the assignment. But the folks that are getting them just aren't talking about it on the forums because they got the assignment, so for them, there's no problem. And as for DOFFJOBS, the discussion there lately has turned off most of the people that were using it. I turned the channel off months ago - it'd gotten almost ESD-Zonechat bad. :P

Before 9.5, I would get several a week (across 3 toons) for Romulan and very, very,very rarely, a Reman one. Since season 9.5, I haven't had a single Romulan/Reman recruitment, and only 1 on my Romklink for a Laathean.
