If **ANYONE** has seen the Romulan Boff assignment.. please say so.

Since 9.5 hit, no-one that I know has seen the Romulan Boff assignment at all.

The Doffjobs channel has also been saying that it's not appearing at all... so if you have seen the Romulan Boff assignment since 9.5 hit Holodeck, please say so, if you haven't also say so

Otherwise, it's yet another bug to attribute to 9.5.

    Last time i sore this mission was 4 mths ago they has been meny threads on this subject.

    I know its ment to be very rare but not seeing it in 4mths means its ultra rare

    From 9.5 release we can't seem to find Romulan boff recruitment mission.

    Can we please have it looked after?

    I've gotten two Superior Rom Op Boffs from this mission in the last three weeks or so.

    On the same character.

    They were close enough together that I actually thought to myself, "Hmm, I thought this mission was still on cooldown?"

    Prior to 9.5 I hadn't seen it in a few months, despite checking religiously in Tau Dewa space and on the ground on New Romulus at every login.

    Actually, thinking about it more, I think it is really 3 separate doff missions - one each for Tac, Sci, and Eng - which explains how I could get two so close together, as they were ... um, Sci and Eng if memory serves. Assuming the cooldown is really long and the rarity is Ultra rare, that'd easily make for some really long dry spells.

    Anyway, to the original question, they don't appear to be completely broken, but has the frequency been reduced? I think only someone with access to Cryptic's metrics could say with any real certainty.

    9.5 has only been out for 2 weeks.. Are you sure the assignments appeared for you after 9.5 went live?

    I only ask, because every time this question has been asked in Doffjobs, the answer from everyone is always no.. If you did pick up the Rom Boff assignments after 9.5 hit, then you could be the only person to have seen it.. which would still mean it's way to rare.

    I have yet to see one, but it's not to say they won't appear, just not since 9.5 had launched for me either.

    Before season 9.5 it was rare but it used to turn up.
    After season 9.5, i have never seen it and i happen to check New Romulus like twice or more a day with about 3 toons.
    As for cluster doffs assignments ... after season 9.5, i have encountered the B'tran one only once.

    Well, I can't say so. Of course, thanks to 9.5 I also haven't been doffing nearly as much, so... yeah. Haven't seen it.

    I've noticed fewer recruitment missions in general too for what its worth, but the Romulan and Reman recruitment missions have been so rare and random going a week without seeing it isn't enough to cause too much alarm for me just yet. And luckily I'm still going through my stockpile of pre 9.5 SROs.

    (weirdly enough, another thing I've noticed is that all SROs generated via the assignment have superior acute senses as the second superior trait, superior soldier/plasma weapon specialist/etc are possible but only available from boffs awarded at level 45...)

    16 romulan toons, no Romulan/Reman boff assignments since 9.5.

    Seems the assignment got nerfed to hell. Almost every thing i have used to earn EC or Dil got nerfed to hell. i have a recipe for this "hidden" nerfing. we should nerf them back with our empty wallets.

    I've not been seeing Boff recruitment on my Feds either.

    Dont have any problem with both fed and kdf chars, they pop out in regular intervals.

    No Rom BOFF recruiting on my chars, check 2x per day minimum (morning and evening)

    Allied faction recruiting assignments still showing up very often for both

    I'm 99.9% sure. (I did happen to get a Reman on my other Rom character recently, but that was before 9.5) It might be that the first of the two Rom candidate assignments dropped for me before 9.5, but the second one was definitely after. Unfortunately the new doff UI doesn't keep a log of complete assignments back more than a few days like the old one did, or I'd tell you for sure.

    There's no way that I'm the only one to have the assignment. But the folks that are getting them just aren't talking about it on the forums because they got the assignment, so for them, there's no problem. And as for DOFFJOBS, the discussion there lately has turned off most of the people that were using it. I turned the channel off months ago - it'd gotten almost ESD-Zonechat bad. :P

    I'll add my voice to this, though I'm pretty sure a Dev will never read it (after a reply I received from another thread on a different sub-forum)

    Before 9.5, I would get several a week (across 3 toons) for Romulan and very, very,very rarely, a Reman one. Since season 9.5, I haven't had a single Romulan/Reman recruitment, and only 1 on my Romklink for a Laathean.

    Meanwhile I had *never* had a Reman recruitment mission since LoR went live. Not one. In that time (what, 18 months-ish?) I've ran probably 15-16 Romulan recruitments between my two Rom toons. I finally got a Reman recruitment just recently (And wow, a purple with Superior Infiltrator.)

    Did you think it would last forever? I do think I recall getting one of these on a rom last week. I think they just reduced the frequency by an order of 10 or so.

    No i have not seen one Reman or Romulan on any of my 18 rom side of things. and ive been checking every hour or so this weekend. :mad:
