windows 8 and STO...

How does STO run on windows 8? Seen some old threads here but I'd like to know the current state on compatibility.


As a side note, how are games in general in win8?

    I've been running W8 on my computer since last August and have played a lot of games; it is pretty much the same experience as with Windows 7. In fact, under all the fancy tiles, Windows 8 pretty much IS Windows 7.

    Cool thanks, I ask because I checked the Microsoft compatibility checker thingamajig and it said sto was not compatible. But you're saying it works fine? Good to know.
