gameclient.exe problem

I'm getting the gameclient.exe has stopped working error and it happens the same day as the game gets patched :mad:

how did people fix this last time?

    I can't get neither the STO nor Neverwinter launcher to launch. Neither through Arc nor outside of it.

    Just had this happen to me, 3 times, on 3rd time click the wait for program to respond and it worked

    I have a similar problem, also after patching.

    game client patched and game stops responding once I get to the Romulan Splash load screen, game just hangs after that.

    I have the Steam version, and I didn't see Steam notification pop up in the corner like usual, so I rebooted computer and re logged Steam, but still freezes on the same splash screen.

    Well, I guess I'll go play something else.

    No idea why this account has limited forum access and so forth, it's been here since 2008.
