Oh, excellent advice. can you dismiss Elisa and recommission her?

The Klingon equivalent Bridge Officer, K'Gan comes with BFAW III, IIRC. A good pick for non-Tactical Captains that want to fly something with Lt.Cmdr tactical slots and want to use beams. (Tacticals can just train it.)

Never tried to dismiss her. You know, whenever I try something it fails and ends in a catastroph. :D

But she seems to be a pretty good melee ground Boff too. I have collected her on all my three Feds.

I am curious about this too, it could be a solution in the future if it can be done.

But not sure if a Romulan Republic captain can claim her.

    1) Go to Starfleet Academy
    2) Next to Lt Ferra there's a guy, go to him
    3) Click "Put in transfer order for Elisa Flores".
    4) Will give you the boff (with three superior ground traits) and has Torpedo Spread 3
    5) ??????
    6) Profit

    Now I want cookie please.

I don't give a carp what skills Tovan Khev has, as I completely refuse to accept his presence in the game.
Given how much I detest him, no way is he getting assigned to active duty on my ship!

Especially since a vastly superior tactical BOFF (Reman Borg) is available to every Romulan in the game.
And that one we choose to invite to our crew. ;)

If your not in a rush you can gamble with the asylum on Earth missions.

I would do these anyway, as you can sell them on exchange if you don't find the one you need, as that sale can pay for the one you need on exchange.

You only need him for some missions as contact...

But I think you are only jealous because he looks like the Werewolve guy from these romantic Vampire films :D

Starter legacy pack or Zen Store. I am not sure if to still works, but you can switch his head from Reman to Human :D

    Logic Assassin here. ;)
Despite what you may think, you do not need Tovan as a contact at all!

Since the Reman Borg can be claimed as soon as you start playing, I do so and immediately assign him to take Tovan's place in every capacity.
And the missions run just fine despite the fact he's not there, even though the starter episodes are written around his participation.
Which is why his presence is wholly irrevalent, he has no impact on gameplay whatsoever.

I didn't buy the starter pack, since I deemed it too expensive to purchase.
That means I have to buy the Reman Borg per Romulan character, for me, it is not an account unlock.

Well you need Tovan at least with you when you find her sister, or was that removed. I know his impact is pretty low in the game overall, I had him always with me and didn't care who or what he is. He has great space abilities and went mayhem on ground.

I somehow like this Best Buddy concept, I get free Boffs wir usable powers and don't care if I need them or not. I just don't understand the hate against Tovan when you are able to replace him anyway with another team member. Yes, you can't dismiss him but why should I. Its only 1slot.

yup..still can :) just tried it now lol

also...the only mission I've come across that truly forces you to have tovan is the last mission before the tal shiar arc

You can do the quest without Tovan but he still pops up and talks.

As for his space abilities... they suck compared to what I could have. He has 1 space trait and 3 ground traits. He only has Romulan Operative as a purple BO. I want Superior Romulan Operative and Superior Subterfuge.

He is forced and is using up a BO slot that I can use for a BO that I would slot and use instead of him taking up space and being useless.

He is not my best buddy.
Just because the game makes him out to be your best friend doesn't mean he is that to the player.

And even if you replace him, the game is programmed to continually remind you he is there.
I have two other Tactical Officers on my ship crew and they're ignored because Tovan is hardcoded to take their dialogue away from them.

Which is why I want him gone, if he's "out of the picture" then the game will actually respect my personal choices for crew assignments.
FYI, Tovan is so far down the list of crew assignments, he's not even in the chain of command.

Dunno if it has been said. Couldnt be bothered to read through 5 pages of bla bla.

You can obtain an Android Tactical Bridge Officer if you are either a lifer or reached the 700 days subscription reward. He / She can train Torpedo Spread III and is reclaimable as often as you want.

I noticed last night Elisa Flores has torpedo spread III. Could claim her to train your boff.

Does it have any other useful powers?

I want to put 3 specific Tactical skills on a single BOFF.

In order, Tactical Team, High Yield Torpedo, Torpedo Spread 3.

I knew the Jem'Hadar BOFF has that skill, but when I tried to claim a second one for training purposes, it would not let me claim it as a mission reward.
    So that can't be done.

Are there regular BOFFs with Torpedo Spread 3 that I could acquire and use to train a tactical BOFF?

Do you still need one of these Boffs? I think you said Fed side. I happen to have one in my candidate list on an alt. Also a Transfer Shield Strength 3 one as well. And no, they are not on the the Jem or the Reman. If ya still need TS3, let me know.

Torpedo Spread 4... Coming soon to a reputation grind near you!

I'm waiting for the Wall of death ability, not only a TS3 but all the projectiles are High Yield 3.

The quickest is like one of the previous posters said...Elisa Flores. If you customized her, save her outfit, fire her than reclaim at SFA in the Kiosk where LT Ferra and the personnel officer is.

    That really works?

Even with a new toon that got her with the Tutorial missions? Or just for old characters who could claim her at SFA?

No, I do not need it anymore.
But thank you for the offer anyway.

In the future, I'll be more careful about claiming that Jem'Hadar boff, since i'll want to use one for training and one more to keep after that.
