After last nites maintence patch after se9 , my hotbar space skills keeps getting removed after every map loading....Having to keep opening the skill window and placing them on my hotbar is starting to get really annoying now..im curious if any1 else is getting this bug??
and I hope its get fixed soon. Btw this was happening all the time with my Science intrepid calss retrofit.

Same is happening with my doffs ... all move out her a , all this have start after seson 9.
Hotbar abilities are moved/removed/reset when loading from a space map to a ground map and then back to a space map. I've been able to reproduce the ability in multiple maps. Other people seem to have had this issue as well. Interestingly all cases I've read so far were on recently created KDF-aligned Romulans, but that may be coincidence.
Reproduction steps:
1. I'm in a space map
2. I set hotbars up to my liking
3. I load into a ground map
4. I load into a space map
5. My hotbar setup is changed

Same problem. The ship weapon loadout is fine.
The Skill panels completely revert to something I was using a few days ago. I changed BOFFs, changed the skill panels, and renamed the Loadout... but the panels keep reverting to an old skill layout (i.e. blank spaces because I shuffled one of my BOFFs).

Since this is a rather gamebreaking bug(you shouldn't have to bloody redo all your ability bars every time you load into a new map) that completely prevents people from being able to play their characters, I think it deserves a certain urgency, I'd much like a confirmation that the devs have been made aware of this issue. I've also attempted to contact a GM but am getting no response.
I'd just like a confirmation that this bug has been noted and is being worked on.

I'm leaning towards not playing or spending any money until this is fixed. I was really excited for season 9, but really.. why should I pay for a broken, frustrating product? I have a lot of other games I can play.
It's pretty much this hard to keep just one timeline intact. ♪
I try not to post on forums angry but this is incredibly frustrating and you know what it's incredible how bugs persist in this game. Please for goodness sake fix this or at least acknowledge it in the patch notes that you're aware of it and working on it.
I dont wanna stop playing the game but if this continues i feel my money and time can be spent on other games that arnt having problems like this bug.
The bug itself dates back before '11 and i cant believe that it is still causing problems.
As for me, it's all in the Big Personal Tray, who keep going back to the first configuration it automatically made when first readied the starship. Please fix!
That's why I dropped my sub lastnight, been trying to help support the game with a few dollars here and there, but enough is enough when nothing ever gets fixed :P I didn't even use the loadout feature and I've had this issue for over a week and using the same skills and reporting it is pointless since it's been a prob for a few years now I guess according to many others. It's annoying as hell entering a event battle in space and coming under attack as soon as you zone in while you sit and waste time putting all your skills on the action bar...:mad: this happens every single time lol. I've looked through a few threads about this same problem and noticed not one single reply of acknowledgement about the issue from a "Dev" or whoever has even been spotted. I'm sure this will eventually get noticed once they finish some new lockboxes to be implemented in the next update....
Same for me too, but looks like it happens when you beam down to a planet or starbase. Settings are okay when you go on mission some missions it can randomly change back to the default layout.
Buffer allocation or we just need to have lock and a [SAVE] button instead of the just [OK] is just not enough. Something has changed somewhere this issue causing me to stop and reconfigure then go on into mission by the time I get to the short time limits for Voth battles the timer runs out because I had to reconfigure my trays for the battle every time I start that battle. I take the shuttle to the battlezone then beam to Undine space battle and find out all my tray settings are gone to the default mode.

Bugs seem to appear at swapping ships at ESD & starbase as well. Did one today on our starbase and had a skill and one slotted active doff missing...
- After finishing your setup SAVE the loadout and swap ships and back to see if it's still in your setup condition. Works nicely for me on swapping between my 'fighting' ship and freighter...
- Check you tray setup after you have trained a boff for another player and/or on letting another boff joining your crew. In most cases your tray is likely to be messed up again.
Thanks but nothing works! It always reverts back to the default when you first get the ship. Either we all have way to much consoles/training skills from our bridge officers or the system can't handle the loading of our configurations.
SAVE button with enough slots to support what we are given now would fix this issue plus whatever other known cause of this problem on their end not ours needs to be TOP PRIORITY! I am not even bothering to lock them into place since they will not stay put. After coming back from mission load or beaming down to any planet or space station. Always the same situation! REVERT TIME!
VOTH and UNDINE will have to wait until I get my consoles in order to do battle with them. Might be the next round not current round at this rate.

- Setups are to be done in Sector Space only.
- Clear everything from all of the trays you are not using. These must be completely empty.
- Leave the trays Unlocked. So if something does move it is easier to return to the slot you want.
- After setting up a ship, save to both the Loadout slots.
- After swapping out anything at all on the ship, repeat the above.
Like I said it isn't perfect. Once in awhile any Batteries I have slotted in the tray wander off to the first tray I am not using.

Seems to be on-going work-in-progress. Just have to make do then. I seen under my Romulan his ship layout after days re-adding it hasn't drop off. Well this just another day like today. Again both trays a full though. It's like the system loaded everything except 3 items.

Any eta on this fix? I enter a new map with a dozen or so skills missing.
My tac really doesn't have this issue, as I can grab skills quickly from the boff trays.
For my sci - it's life or death. missing 6 skills neuters my ship.

The issue is not being ignored, it's just proving difficult to fix.
i realize your having hard time , but i find it hard to believe that there are players that use the system that dont have the issue. anyone that i know that has tried the system has this issue and others have it without even trying it . i have yet to come across anyone that doesnt have a small issue with the new system on at least one ship in there roster .
this is not just a few players issue this is alot bigger than your making it to be .
There is a 'workaround' which somebody posted in the main thread about this issue.
When you change anything power related (move something on the hotbar, change a boff, change a set which gives a bonus power etc) you need to
1- Save the loadout
2- Switch to a different ship
3- Switch back to the ship you want to use (means waiting for the cooldown timer to expire)
That does 'fix' the issue, even if it is extremely annoying because you have to do it every single time you change something.
Also, be sure not to leave any BOFF powers out of the hotbar. For example, if you don't normally slot BOFF powers to your hotbar, slot them anyway somewhere in one of the upper rows otherwise some of them will auto add on a map change.
Really, until the issues are fixed with the loadout system, I'd like the option to delete loadouts so we can simply stop using them on the affected characters until they are fixed.
Would details of how various characters have come to be affected be of help, or have they gathered enough information to pin down the cause and are just having trouble with a fix that doesn't break the game further?
