It was the very early days of STO's release.

My very first PVP ship was for my Klingon Sci Captain, a standard, T1 B'Rel BOP. This was because in those days, KDF leveled mostly from PVP. It was either that or do Kahless Expanse 1 million times since there literally was no other KDF PVE content of note. It was also in those days that Feds were looking for PVP all the time.

At all ranks, at all tiers.

Those were some really good days, as simple as they were.

Was the pvp queue hidden then?

No. It actually was among the tabs you could see just below the mini-map. Then Cryptic tucked it away in the submenu we all know and love now.

FAHCR (Fleet Excelsior) in Season 6/7 which I then proceeded to fly in an unconventional way - i.e. actively chasing down smaller, faster ships and BFAW'ing them into space dust (before "BFAW'ing them into space dust" was a thing). :)

Of course, now I'm all about DHC/DBB escorts and min/maxing for that sweet "daylight vape" alpha strike. :D

A few matches as a fed, then PVP with low-level ships while levelling my KDF (which I created to get into more PVP matches in the days before FvF). But these ships were only the preparation for what I consider my first PVP ship:

B'rel. The t1 B'rel to b exact. There was no other kdf content then pvp when I leveled my main kdf.

The t5 Hegh'ta was my first t5 pvp ship.... Given that there was no t5 b'rel around.
    Still my favorite ship.

My first PvP match was in Season 5 at Lieutenant level 6 Tactical officer in a Tier I Miranda. My first level 50 PvP match was in a Fleet Escort (renamed to the Patrol Escort).

I really didn't start PvPing seriously until I got the C-store Defiant. Then shortly afterward, I got the fleet version (around the time fleets were reaching that level). I eventually settled into a classic vaper build (aka BO+THY+CRF, no cheese) for it (and it does a darn good job). Basically I've just stuck with that ever since and it's still my main ship. I got the JHAS last September, and that is now my main ship for arena PvP.

But I still love my good ol' fleet Sao Paulo (that skin is epic).
I ask nothing but that you remember me.

    first pvp ship?

it been so long, but i think it is the same as the one i fly nowaday, galaxy x:).... sorryXD

it was in beguining of season 2 and i went to kerrat, i already own the star cruiser, the sovy and exelsior ( wich i fly 10 minutes, it is too small!!:D )

i stubbornly stay with the galx 2 months getting my TRIBBLE ****, because i thaught "it was the pilot not the ship" ( and also because i love the gimmik lance and cloack ).

before i finally let it go ( after a huge pvp mental fight with myself ) and carry on with the sovy... until the end of season 4 and the new doff system introduced in season 5 ( it was season 5 right? ) wich make the gal x " usabled ", that was enought for me to get trapped in it until EVER, haha.
    ho boy, it is hard!

    PLEASE, NERFED EVERYTHING!!!!! XD
