What was your very first PvP ship?

What was the first ship you used to start in PvP? I had Fleet Defiant, probably the worst choice possible back in season 7. It was tremendously hard to get some PvP training on that ship!

    I did PVP in free ranking ships, most fun I ever had in this game

    If you mean, what was the first end-game ship, then I guess my Fleet Nova was my first.

    Tier 2 Connie, I think... first ship in VA PvP was... probably the tier 4 Patrol Escort, which iirc was called the Fleet Escort back then.

    pretty sure my first match was in a sov. though i remember actually starting to seriously PVPing when the excelsior came out, and i mained that in a tac captain, trying to get make it work, back waaaaay before it actually did.

    A cstore va defiant in a inter-fleet pvp event 2 years ago... :P I remember i bought it after months of hard farming with 2 toons (the dil-cpoints exchange was at 350:1 :eek:)

    Probably a Hegh'ta Bird-of-Prey. Moved to a B'rel not much later. Flew it like a normal escort.

    I can't really remember. It's been so long.

    My first fight may have been in a Nova. My first character was a scientist, using science vessels, and I remember having a fight against another escort that must have been the Tier 2 Escort. I remember the fight because my enemy asked me how I could cloak in a Fed ship, and I told him I could do it exactly like he had done to me - with Jam Sensors.

    But I could be misremembering; I know the exchange about Jam Sensors, but the ships involved could be all wrong. But I am almost certain that my first PvP excursions were before Tier 5.

    When I got more serious with PvP, it was either my Tactical Escort Retrofit, my Long Range Science Vessel Retrofit, or a Star Cruiser.

    Patrol Escort... and now after yeahrs i'm back... just with a tail gun and a mealstrom saucer... and an OP console... :D:D:D

    Started PvPing in my Assault Cruiser some time in March after the game was released. Switched to the excelsior when it came out.

    A few buffs, power creeps and game changes later I got sick and tired of losing to escorts and got myself a fleet escort (called the patrol escort now). Got good memories of that ship and it's probably the longest I've stuck with one. Was actually thinking about getting the tempest solely based on the nostalgia.

    Fleet Patrol Escort because I was told by fleet mates that it was the poor man's bug ship. :)
