It does seem like a fairly flimsy excuse, but I guess if they have severe dyslexia it might be plausible.
And assuming that they'd rather spend 15 minutes fighting against a condition instead of, and this is what most people do anyway, fighting the giant space monster and figuring it out as they go along. I would say that it's not plausible under any but the most terribly unlikely circumstance, which need not be considered.
Bipedal mammal and senior Foundry author.
Notable missions: Apex [AEI], Gemini [SSF], Trident [AEI], Evolution's Smile [SSF], Transcendence
Looking for something new to play? I've started building Foundry missions again in visual novel form!
I was hoping however for some nerfs on the undine. Specifically the fluidic rifts they create which pull you in + do damage and slow you.
and the general damage they do in Elites on their space "STFs"
seriously though, the fluidic rifts they use are a tad over powered to be honest.
there are also some framerate issues with the undine because of their torpedo's, I cant remember the name exactly but its likes a high yield plasma torpedo when it fires and the explosion drops frames by 20-50 depending on your computer specs (worked this out after having a conversation with several people with various computer builds). which can be quite painful.
Hope it happens in the next patch.
anyway glad to see they fixed the honor guard armor bug
If the enemy-team leaves, because they don't want you to win and your PvP-Dailies/-Repeatables don't complete, then it is a problem.
indeed
When the enemy team realizes that they are about to lose= "press warp out button"
This happens in the solo/duo queue and in the standard queue.
The logout maneuver is another story where people just do a /logout before they die to avoid death.
Both needs to be finally fixed. If you queue up for PvP then go do PvP and don't beam out after 5 mins because you don't like whats happening in the match.
Once I figured out I could use Hazard Emitters to clear off the fluidic rift debuff I barely notice they are there.
Edit: Perma ban the sniveling PetaQs who quit rather then take their death in PvP. If not from the game, from the queues. Somebody has to die in PvP. If you are doing it against opponents worth your time your win/loss rate should be 50/50. Learn to die like the rest of us.
I once again match my character. Behold the power of PINK!

Maybe it's combined with OCD. :P
Also I did say "might." lol
It's not myfault ifyoufeel trolledbymyDisco ball...Sorry'boutit.
But it amazes me at how costume issues seem to get priority over more important issues. Such as skill trays going blank or missing some skills just because I changed maps. Graphics issues and a lot of other issues that don't seem to even make the "Known Issues" list.
I more or less tend to agree with this, theres a lot of issues more important than costumes to get fixed.
However it could be just that some things take longer to fix than others so while those are being worked on they can fix the other less difficult things in the process. I mean if they didn't we could have to wait like 2 months before a new patch for anything lol

yeah but try seeing if that helps in elites, the damage is insane especially if your a characters tactical. As you mainly will end up sticking to escorts rather than cruisers or science vessels... though some do end up using cruisers and sci vessels lol
I think over all cruisers have the easiest time with the rifts though tbh. I only really take issue with the rifts in elites. the rest is fine.

yay for beam boats! ... I think. >.<
I only play elite.
And I typically fly carriers or cruisers, tho I've been on a Vesta kick recently.

well said. pvp should be about getting in and winning or losing, then getting your rewards, but sticking with it, regardless of the outcome.
