The Riot Gaems

riyott: this game is terrible. let's try and have fun before star citizen. (if it ever comes out lol)


Format:

1. Each team will be formed from the pool of registered players after the registration period
closes, which will be 1 hour before the games begin, using a “Lethal Lottery” style name
draw.

2. There will be no more than 2 of any captain type on any one team.

3. There will be no more than 2 of any ship class per team:

a) Escorts/Raiders
b) SciShips/Carriers
c) Cruisers/Dreadnaughts

4. Power/Gear Restrictions -
a) No more than 1 copy of the following may be used on a team: TIF, GPG or Subspace
Integration Circuit.
b) No more than 2 of any remaining Activatable Universal Consoles, this is simply to
prevent stacking and/or non-stop chaining.
c) Scramble DOFFs that increase target cooldowns are not allowed, Scramble Sensors
is.
d) Tyken’s Rift with Aftershock DOFFs will be limited to one per team, no restrictions if
The Duty Officer is not being used
e) No Yellowstones - duh

If you have any of these items on the ship you plan to bring, be sure to bring alternatives in case your team needs to adjust before your first match.

This tournament will be hosted on Sad Pandas Teamspeak: ts.sadpandas.sexy:9988 and will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 4pm EST (8pm GMT, the UK is currently GMT+1, so 9pm in the UK, etc...). Edit: Date Changed to prevent Monday morning from interfering.

Registration:

Simply reply to this thread with your @Handle, your preferred Captain and Ship Class Combination and any alternate Captain/Ship Combos you would be willing to use. Also, please indicate if you are comfortable being a target caller for a team.

You may sign up as a fleet or as an individual but all teams will be formed from the available pool of players so fleet groups may get separated

Prizes:

No prizes for this one suckers! If this goes over well, we’ll have prizes during the next Riot Gaems. This one is mostly to gauge interest and to see if we can actually have fun and not take internet spaceships too seriously.

Seriously, just have fun. I’ll ban you from life. I’m super cereal.

    but more than happy to bring Tac/Escort, Sci/Recluse, Eng/Cruiser, or Eng/Recluse.

    Can call in a pinch (but there are better options!).

    prefer to call targets.

    Just say what the time of tourney is in UTC/GMT time.

    Single hangar = dreadnaught or FDC (or sci, I'm looking at you Vesta)
