Okay one time I decided to farm I know slightly scumbagish but it was a KDF deep space encounter so I attack the main body fire my rainbow with a spread of quantum and the raptor I was aiming at blew up!
Proud Trekkie Favorite episode from TOS is The Doomsday Machine TNG: Yesterday's Enterprise VOY: Endgame part 1 and 2 DS9: Emissary ENT: Assmilation
What's particularly "dirty" about that? (Either of that?)
I do sometimes get tired of fighting a particular wave and just press Fleet Support, Photonic Fleet and Pirate Distress Call all at once and let them deal with it.
Dog fight, both firing cannon rapid fire, I was losing...had a final head to head go (before I'd probably die) and then I did this...
Popped all speed boosters and threw on ramming speed/brace for impact....connect against his bare hull...i was on the other side of the map...he blew up and was cursing me...
I felt a bit dirty for that unjust kill...was expecting a quick escape
Got invited to a random challenge match outside ESD, two guys from some German fleet, they throw another random on my side, we go on to decimate them 15-0. I felt pretty bad about it afterwards: I was in my Fleet Mogai with rep gear and fleet consoles, completely outclassed them. The dirty move was not warping out as soon as I realized they had no chance. I figure it was a good lesson not to spam invites to random players, at least.
I don't normally PVP, only in Ker'rat (and I'm really just there to farm gear), so I was expecting the opposite to happen.
Don't know if you would class it as dirty or not, but was testing my new D'D retrofit on some Tholians. Got one of their cruisers down to about 25% when they webbed me up completely. So trying something completely new, I hit the singularity jump. My warbird jumped outside the web and directly behind the cruiser where it promptly opened up with a full torpedo spread and beams, finishing off the cruiser before it had chance to turn.
I love my warbird and Singularity jumps.

Question: I thought Fleet Support & Pirate Distress Call were on the same timer. Did they change that?

Answer: Maybe I'm misremembering. Or it could be that my Fleet Support just doesn't work right - I often find it on cooldown when I haven't used any summon powers at all that day yet, so it could be that the cooldown is misfiring somehow.
Not sure if its dirty but I once used the KHG MES ability to make an entire KDF ker'rat group disapeer right as the zone respawned. The feds playing thought we had all left.
Yanked a runaway escort along with various other targetables into a cloud of Warp Plasma using doffed Repulsors, followed by a Refracting Tet Lattice and a big fat high yield. Unfortunately, I didn't realize he had been scrambled - resulting in me and everything else in the locality blowing up.
Letting my team mates in pug groups be used as a meat shield while i just sneak around and hit the stf bosses from different angles of attack .
Letting my team mates eat thalaron never gets old

I've been doing that a lot lately. Love been able to sit back and watch those guys deal with it.
EDIT: My own "dirtiest" move was for getting first place in Crystalline Entity: I parked my ship right next to it while it was building up its shockwave, put everything on at once (subspace field modulator, brace for impact, ANYTHING); I'd go down to very few percent hull, then use engineering team, miracle worker, etc, to bring me right back up while everyone else was exploding. God bless Grace Under Fire.

bah.... just hide inside it and use TBR to ward off shards. :P The CE sucks at fighting things inside it.... except for spawning shards.... those are a bit of a problem. At any rate, unless it's changed recently, the shockwave from the CE doesn't hit anything that is inside it's model. There's an outer limit to the shockwave too, I forget exactly what it is, might be 10-ish km.
I've found a combination of TSS and EPtS3 to be effective at tanking the shockwave... most of the time. But I usually don't bother. As Mr. Miyagi would say, "Best block: no be there."
Yeah, it's kinda mean, but it works. It's even better if you dump warp plasma inside the CE. The shards eat it as soon as they launch! mwahahaah!!!!

It's 10Km. Just be at 10.1Km and you can laugh at the CE. Or better still just be at sub 1km like you suggested.
You can keep firing at max damage that way*
*just don't use plasma torpedoes at that range. It can be rather warm if you do so.
I let some random pug die for being an Undine infiltrator (translation: flying a Dromias).

Probably taking my tal shiar adapted BC, on my sci, with full console bonus for the radiation on many sci powers into a random pvp match, snagging 4 players in a grav well 3, subspace integration circit, in doctrine nanites, shrapnel torp, sensor scan, sub space depth charge, isometric charge. plus all the radation damage from the set bonus. basically hit them with every dirty console in the book, and watch them go pop. needless to say I didn't get a second chance.
Pre-Nerf elachi lockbox console alpha strike. :P
Honestly did not get dirtier or cheaper than that, complete immobilzation and effectively crippling the player completely from defending him/herself in any way. :P
When in Crystalline, I take my super powah escorts and sit at <1km during the Entity's charging stage, dumping in damage. I reason that if I can put on enough damage, the other players will die from the shockwave and I'll get a better chance at 1st place.
Oh, I just concocted a really nasty idea. Take a Bortas with subspace snare and sit cloaked in a pvp match, facing a solid object, and as enemy players come by you pop them inside. When there's one of the enemy team left you repeatedly murder him till you win. :P
Combining EWP and grav well on the few ships that can use both has always felt a little dirty to me. But oh so fun. Especially with a torp spread FU thrown in.
And TBR with the pull doff always feels a little evil.
My old Fed Sci/Sci ship was specced heavily in engine power / speed, as well as having two sets of Tractor Beam Repulsors specced heavily with Graviton Generators. Had SNB ready in case the target used Polarise Hull.
Spent almost an entire C&H match pushing members of the enemy team into our base turrets.

That would be even more evil if the turrets actually did anything useful.

i seriously doubt that would work; you'd probably get the target popping up to the left or right of the object instead of inside it

If I subspace jump behind someone right up against a big rock and facing away from it, I end up inside the rock. It's happened to me multiple times, so I would bet the snare works the same.

yeah...so, who has a bortasqu' with the appropriate console to test it? besides me, i mean
last i checked, not many people own even ONE bortasqu' because the majority of the populace feel the ships are utter garbage...though, i've noticed quite a few people are now singing a different tune about the command cruiser after the changes to sensor analysis

That's why you don't see hordes of NPCs mobs stuck inside rocks all the time. Or PvP'rs, in this case.
Y'all are talkin' about the K'put Maneuver with the Bortas'qu's Subspace Snare, well, yeah, it works. Have been on the receiving end of it in Ker'rat once or twice.
Humm, dirtiest move in PvP... gosh, only recent one I've got is this:
So I popped into a Cap'n'Hold in my lulz PvE Vesta, y'know, super-sized Gravity Well 3 and Torp Spread 3 to go with the Voth Gravimetric Photon Torpedo launcher. I zip on over to the nearest firefight, start pewing uselessly with my twin Aux Cannons, and a couple sci cappies on the other side pop their Photonic Fleets. There's a Scimitar and Jem HEC zipping about with their pets out as well, so I pop a QSM-buffed Gravity Well on the Scimitar to vaccum up all the pet spam, throw a Sensor Scan, and Torp Spread 3, followed up by a Torp Spread 1of Gravimetric Photon Torpedos down range, SNB the Scimitar who decides it doesn't want to be in the middle of what's about to become a small stellar nursery, and when the ensuing Rifts start proc'ing, turn all the pets, and shortly the Scimitar, into space dust.
In the Undine Zone, I did a similar thing at a point that had a boatload of players and Undine ships and, in the process, killed a friendly Fed HEC that had been zipping by doing attack runs when a Tethys, 4-5 Vila's, about 4 Dromias, and 4-5 Nicors proceeded to all explode in the same part of space at roughly the same time.
Oh, uh, Science Captains are underpowered, I can haz buffs? [sad_puppy_eyes.jpg]
