Difficulty Locating Modules

I have a SCI character and am encountering difficulty locating quality fleet modules.

KDF embassy: Research Kit Module--Stasis Field
Spire: Research Kit Module--Sonic Pulse
Spire: Medical Kit--Medical Tricorder

Surely there are more fleet modules out there for SCI character. Has anyone else located others. Thanks. I'll keep looking.

My understanding is that you can't have two of an identical set of modules in the same kit. Although I haven't actually tested that myself, I think I remember reading it somewhere in their notes on the kit revamp.

thanks. So, what are we supposed to do? Looks to me like I'll be using my old kit until cryptic adds more modules. How about you? Any other ideas?

I still haven't found anyone who sells modules on q'nos. The old vender still sells kits, but no modules.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Run Assimilated... Drops a random MK XI profession module each run.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

That's actually a really good idea. Once I mess with the new kits on more than just my ground focused engy, I should do that. On that note, not quite sure why they made Engy even better from the kit update. I can now run (and deploy) two minefields simultaneously and they gave a kit that gives bonus damage from the mines. Its like they thought they just weren't good enough at one-shotting just about anything as they were.

So, now engineers are the best on ground, and the tacts are almost the worst. Before S9, tacs were the best and scien the worst lol. Clear intentions here, cryptic .. lol.

But 2 minefields? seriously.. lol. You can deploy an entire mine camp if you add your boff mine skills.

and with four engine Boffs you can lay down over a dozen turrets.

Did you ever get a fleet kit before the season started? If so you can trade each one in for a kit with 5 modules already in it. 1x ultra rare mk12, 3x very rare mk12 and one uncommon mk12 in each trade in kit. I know some people think that is a no brainer but you we be suprised how many people on these forums say they will not trade in their kits till they build a new one.

Fed side Mk X very rares are sold by a console on K-7. Those are equivalent to the old Mk X very rare kit powers.

KDF side, apparently, you can't buy those same Mk X very rare modules. The comparative console on the KDF station don't sell them.

you could always have 2 sets of 5 mines deployed simultaneously

    this is nothing new

unless you're referring to the fact that you can have 2 different mine mods slotted for a grand total of 4 sets of 5 mines each...then yeah, that's kind of approaching silly levels of stopping power

Engy have always been the kings of ground, now they just got a pretty massive buff to make them even better-er.

That is a thing of beauty for sure. :D Tried that a few times and it's just so unfair to the NPCs. Also, a half dozen quantum mortars hitting at the same spot makes any group of mobs go away. Especially the slow Borg zombies.

Just a quick message here ...

For those looking for lower level Kits and Modules (around IV, V, VI) ... Nimbus III is an absolute treasure trove! Spend half an hour killing Scorpions, and you end up with dozens of kits ... Some are junk, but I've had several Green and Blue ones drop.

Plus all the other Vendor Trash you get, and If you run around a bit, you can make quite a LOT of EC (Vendor trash) and Dilithium (Queen Scorpion, Mother worm, Hostage Rescue .. etc ...)
Oh, hoho hohhhhh, Oh,, hoho, hohhhhh
