My game won't start...Agian.

For about the fourth time since arc was established my game won't start when arc first came available i tried it out and it was perfectly fine about 5-10 days in it would not load and some one told me to re install i did and the game ran. about the same amount of time the same thing happened. after some one game me the page to a forum which got me a second launcher around the time of the mirror dilithium event but still was to late to play the event though i was able to play and now again i cannot play through the launcher or arc. what other options do i have to be able to play again because arc does not install anymore there's always some error to stop the install shield :(:confused: :mad:

    Moved to tech support as this is a computer issue.

    That said is there anything you can provide? Like does it just crash no errors nothing does it give an error, does it crash to desktop on the loading screen?

    When i get the pop-up that says ''select the language for the installation from the choices below''
    and press ok it loads about 75 percent then says ''the installed version of the application could not be determined. The setup will now terminate.'' does this help :confused:

    i am definitely not the best with computers.

    o_O That is bizarre. Is this with the launcher or ARC?

    Okay. Are you choosing the english language or another language?

    The reason I ask is because I had to re-install STO via ARC last week and it did okay so trying to limit down what it could be (if it's another language issue etc).

    PS - It's about 1pm here in cali and i gotta go with my fiance to the store in a few so I might be delayed in responding (I don't need him to kick my toosh if I sit on the forums all day again hehe). But since I'm not an official member of PWE my ideas are all just from my head not a booklet :P So hopefully if I can't come up with something maybe someone else can.

    I might need to do a reinstall of STO. If I need to, is there a way to save the launcher so that I don't need to go through ARC to start the game.
