Good review, it seems like a good solid cruiser to use.
Just its confusing where is front of the ship and where is the back.
Either way ill get one when they became much cheaper on the exchange.
I'm really torn between the Dromias and the Nicor.
Well if you are more tactically oriented you should go for the Nicor.
If you are more oriented twords ENG go for the Dromias.
But bare in mind that the price currently for the Dromias is around 85m ec and for the Nicor is
around 215m ec. The price for the Nicor should drop in the coming days like any other lockbox ship.

It'll be for my third Engineer toon. (Who technically was my first character, weird I know, but ...)
I've had him pretty much in mothballs for two years now. Playing him from time to time, but not really progressing him. I've wanted him to have something radically different from my other toons. These ships fit that bill.
Yeah, the price gap was noticeable. If the Nicor fits him better, I'd probably end up having to wait and save. I could probably swing the Dormias right now.

If its an Engineer character Dormias should be a better fit then the Nicor.
Well I will see that the cruiser is one butt ugly ship and it even looks like it flies backward. Even if it were the best ship in the game, I don't think I would fly one. Yuk.
Watching all of them pop out of boxes last night, seeing the exchange fill up with them, and witnessing one parked outside of Ker'rat made me physically ill. The review didn't help much to alleviate the anxiety I've experienced watching these things gettng added in.
Public Service Announcement: Any captain caught emerging from an Undine vessel will be preemptively shot squarely in the head to preclude the loss of military secrets to Undine infiltration. Any Undine vessel sighted will be considered an enemy combatant and fired upon.

Beautiful ship. Better looking than the Galaxy.
Protip: If you want to troll, don't go for the obvious.

I agree its ugly, but its actually a very good cruiser!
I mentioned it earlier but wow did they pick the worst visual for this ship.
I just re-watched the Undine trailer and for each and every Undine ship showcased in the trailer, I was like, "Wow that is awesome!!!" I mean they all sort of look like a cross between Vorlon and Shadow technology from Babylon 5 but the Dromias is just TRIBBLE looking. Basically instead of a sleek preying mantis organic look, they decided to use a one of the walking stick insects as the model. I mean they did want us to spend money to buy this ship right hehe.

Anyone flying one of these abominations is assumed to be an Undine infiltrator and will be treated accordingly.
You've got it backwards. This is Drake's idea. We're taking these ships BACK into Undine Space and infiltrating the infiltrators. Using some holo emitters and some rotating sensor scrambling we're going to be able to mimic the bio signs of an actual undine pilot and strike deep into the heart of their fluidic empire. This came about due to some clever assistance the Gehlki have given us.
The Dromias to me is a beefed up KDF Fleet K'T'Inga. The latter is a tremendously well handling Battlecruiser, but straddled by being Cmdr/LtCdr heavy ship. With a Universal station, I would make the K'T'Inga shine alot more.
The Dromias would be the result of that change, statistics-wise.

Yeah I just commandeered this Dromias to go to the fluidic space to kill off as many Undines as I can. I am no collaborator I swear!

I was thinking something similar but, I feel that the Dromias is best used on an ENG character.

For the Nicor its Tactical for sure. It's a 4/4 escort with with 5 tac consoles.
For the Dromias I think the best should be Eng class, but because of that LTC Universal
slot it could work with the TAC and SCI classes.

Sounds interesting, and you just gave me an idea for one of my characters.:)

Nice review.
I should let Istvaan know we are both included in the chat during the video. Finally fame is mine!

I'm sorry to people who I, in the past, insulted, annoyed, etc.

Won't matter.

I will not heal or help anyone in one of these wretched things.
I may even just leave fleet actions where they turn up and eat the penalty.
Racist! "What is your beef with the Undine rinkster?"

As I'm not an Undine, I think you need a comma.
And I'll thank you to not call me a racist again without cause.
