Where is the little girl ?!

Most of the pvpers act like the man(girl) in the car after a roflstomp in arena nowadays.

BTW since the launch of season 9 my graphics has been significantly deteriorated. The actual quality reminds me when i played age of empires 1 with my old windows 98. It is really hard and unreasonable to play with those settings. I tried to set the graphics to highest quality everywhere but it didnt help.

I dont know what cryptic has done again.

Anybody else have the same issue ?

Untill someone gets screenshots. Here is what I did. First under the Display tab make sure the game is set to run at max Res. Mine got reset to something less than that. Then you can set the game to use DirectX 11 rather than 9 or auto. It does seem to make the game look better. Then you want to set the Resolution Scale all the way up. This made the graphics improve the most. And last of all under the Advanced tab. Turn the Render Quality up. And set the Max view distances all the way up as well. Beyoned that just mess with the settings some. I am running the game on a Laptop that has Intel HD integrated Graphics and despite what Tech Support keeps telling me the game is running fine, and the laptop is not overheating. Since you did not include your specs in your post I have no way of knowing if your system is similar to mine or not. However, I hope this helps.

Agreed.

One could always just click onto the "Graphical and Sound Issues" sub-forum and maybe start reading, since there's already a ton of graphic related threads since season 9.

It's not the 1. time that this guy feels the need to troll. Looks like he might need that to compensate for something small.

my computer is less then a month old and pretty close to top of the line http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3hkGA

5v5 pvp never drops below 45 frame rate at maxed settings. but since season 9, i cant even see my own weapons fireing half the time. disappearing fx has always been a problem, but now its just crazy

Phew, glad i'm not the only one. I had to actually listen to the stuttering firing sounds to make sure i was firing at all. Also, did anybody else notice their beam overloads miss a lot more, or am i the only one that's gotten more unlucky (or who's timing got worse) in the new season (Seriously though, i had multiple BOs miss targets that were standing perfectly still - that shouldn't happen).

BO's have always seemed to have suffered a ACC penalty for some reason to me, but now it will tend to miss and refire again, heck I have had the same BO fire off 3 times in a row till it hit.

It was brought up by a bunch of folks over on Tribble - since there were no patch notes about graphics changes...yet so many were experiencing awful play over there. It was kind of funny (not haha, but /facepalm) how Holodeck ended up being even worse than Tribble had been...

I turned off my Post processing and turned Bloom down to low, that cleared up the way the game looks for me. Other wise everything else is Maxed out.

Hasnt disappearing weapons been around for a while? It like spreaded from warp poo to other visual effects. Its only going to get worse the more visual TRIBBLE toys they add. They have no clue how the engine works

It used to take a lot more on the screen for my torps to be invisible - just audible - but in Ker'rat before the server went down this morning, it was pretty twisted how few things were showing.

yeah same with me. I had to turn mine down to 50 then back to 100 and it fixed it.

Don't worry I have a really high end PC and it runs like shet.PLaying at over 100FPS then it gets a second freeze ,moves ...slows downs ...colours look the way it runs.At this rate in a season or two this game will need more resources than Star Citizen.

oh and it no longer runs on my laptop...it worked in s8.5

Not an excuse.If you see the effects are missing you stop adding new stuffs till you understand what and why it happens.I mean test it or ask people around.

Same here. I made all the changes. Given my computer is as old as the game but I am still above recommended settings. Maybe once I get the new build done I will see. I had a match last night where I was doing damage but no cannons or beams were being drawn. It was so bad I called my self "Hax" after a 60K crit in arena.

.. and some Guys can only play with Vaper's,.. i think they have no Guts for Dogfight Escort if the play alone.

The best is you meet a Group of A2B Faw's with a vaper as enemy.. fun for everybody right. :rolleyes:

This " Hit and Run " aktion is the worst in STO.. the same with A2B FAW OP CRIT Aktion, rolling you Head on Spacebar neets alot of Skill.

Say what you want but in my mint this is only BS and sucks !

BtW. the same with all this broken **** who's everybody use in the Arena.. Yellowstones,.. scramble Doff and these P2W Consoles. If you neet this.. fine. :cool:

Thats why STO PvP will DIE.. gz.

I look forward to an another game without this stuff,.. .

I ran into a ship last night that was an A2B fawker with a strong FBP talk about annoying you had 10 sec window to kill him before he had his faw and FBP back up. Then he had to balls to brag about damage in a 15-2 loss and he was half the kills.

Does Cryptic really think introducing more FX improves the visual quality of the game? Especially considering the more and more obvious render limitations of the graphics engine?!

Bort, Taco, Adjustorhawk, don't you guys run into the same issues as we do? If not, I'd really like to know the difference between our rigs and yours.

The little girls are the bullies who feel the need to gang up on an unarmed man. They were so brave hiding behind their cars doors and loaded pistols. Such a pathetic display of cowardice. They should be out arresting the gangs of dangerous criminals, as that is why they were given guns in the first place. Very similar to PvP, although not in the way you described.

david, meanwhile i think you know me good enough. yes i have a vaper, i also run dogfight escorts with which i am more experienced and you know that, but does that mean i have no guts? i think you know the reason why i fly this ship intensively atm, i mean you as my fleetie and as a friend: is it really necessary to mention events, which happened in the solo arena queue especially between fleet comrades, in the forums ? please, we are just embarassing ourselves with such actions.

I assume you are talking about the pug's your inner circle premade (ONLY German and GOOD PvPers) team stomp ?

nop pug vs pug and any other kind of pvp like 1v1 is included and yea it happens all the time when we were running a team in the q's. If i compare it to pvp in the past such actions occurred very rarely, nowadays it just has become "normal behaviour".
I neither have thought nor i have said for what you have accused me and sry to disappoint u but u dont know my attitude at all

i have submitted a ticket already and i still have the problems. The resolution and quality has slightly improved though after resetting the graphical settings to default again. but the problem is still there unfortunately.

you are right, it was my fault i didnt think of that since i only particpate in the pvp forums.
