just some short thoughts that probably already have been dropped a lot on the issue, but can't spot em in here after a quick overview (beside all the other suggestions; i have no probs here):
- may check an older/up to date driver for ya gforce
- if possible may try out a radeon. at least that's what i run and i play on high settings dx11 on a dual core 5+ years old (radeon hd 5770)
... for the other part of the topic read my sig... yeah, yeah, one can dream ...
Don't do radeon! You will bang your head on a wall sooner or later.
lol ... the card is almost as old as the pc (about 5 years) and i play bf3 on high, bf4 on med to high settings . the whole system only really lacks of ram (4gb ddr2; radeon with 1gb ddr5), but when everything is loaded i have up to no issues (sto runs like a rabbit on drugs and i barely get lags; and if on other games: shadows... isn't it everytime all about the shadow-settings?! ;D).
but thx for the hint anyway !
