When will all you numbnuts across the internet understand
equallity for everyone =/= RIGHT I love how we just keep hammering the veteran players who have played within the rules. They're the ones that keep the game going and buy things and you Cryptic CONTINUE to kick them in the balls! You did so in season 7 i am betting you did in 8 because i left over 7 and came back to check out nine. And you've done it again here.
HOW ABOUT INSTEAD OF CATERING TO THE WHINING OF BITCHY TWELVE YEAR OLDS YOU ACTUALLY CHALLENGE THEM TO PLAY ****ING BETTER!?
That's right i said it! AND I MEAN IT! I've seen insane play in battlezones and in STF's since i came back the gameplay that comes from people just BEGGING for their ****ing handouts instead of earning it. Honestly it makes me sick that some of these people will jump ship to Star Citizen, those guys dont need this crowd.
Unfortunately i doubt you'll see the protest that happened at season 7's launch that nearly brought the game to it's knees. (less than 50 per zen. daaaamn.)
Too many sheeple in this game do not give a damn about anything that happens they the kind that thinks EVERYTHING IS AWESOME. We have complained loudly and strongly before it has gotten us nowhere. The only thing that is even close to remotely understood is Money and i doubt even that given who their real overlords are. cBS.
It honestly parallel's what's happening in the outside world so i really dont have a problem with using those terms especially since cBS owns the rights to Star Trek currently. (Which is a ****ing disgrace it belongs to that pack of liberal ****tards trying to hide the truth)
Until people are willing to open their eyes (Which in this case is never) A bad game will be a bad game. My only advice at this point is delete every character don't give away your stuff, uninstall the program and never visit these forums again. The first patch doesn't even touch the broken space battlezone. You would THINK that would be a top priority. It isn't even listed in known issues. For the record this post has been saved in advance because i will talk and post about this later in other forums. You may silence me here you can not silence me elsewhere.
Everything is NOT Awesome. Cryptic continues to turn a deaf ear to veteran players in favor of sheeple masses who will dish out cash for ANYTHING. They're blind idiots who have turned this game into something other than star trek. The only solace that can be taken is that nothing in this game will EVER be considered canon by ANY serious TV producer. If Star Trek were to return to TV this game will have ZERO role in it. This isnt a goodbye post. But i feel the pain of the OP. I had simular thoughts in season 7.
It's a FTP game, which means they have to make money in other ways. That means that have to cater to people that dump money in the cash shop, not the ones with no life like you and have everything because they have been logged in the entire time.
You need to realize this is a business and the bottom line is more important than bit**y people like you. FYI I am a LTS and spent a fair share in the cash shop as well. I can do that because I have a full time job and a life outside of game so I can only play maybe an hour or so a day.
It's simple and lve said it 4 times. This is a GOOD THING. Requires people to actually THINK about their setup, not just have 20+ buffs going at all times just for spending time. Now you have to PLAN. And for some I am sure that's just a horrible thing.
No you don't. Just turn on something that looks good, who cares, its not like you actually need those traits for anything. 99% of the fights in this game can be breezed through with whatever and the 1% is NWS.
The only thing you have to THINK about the new rep system is "Why bother when I'm not gonna be any better off for it?" And if the rep's not worth doing then what is?
I haven't done anything but doff assignments, epohh tagging and exchange trading for weeks and doesn't look like thats gonna change in the near future. I'm bored, and unlike previous seasons, this one isn't doing anything to help.
The power creep is/was this game's best feature and now they've gone and ruined it.
What did we get in this 0,5 season 9 : few revamped missions, a featured mission, raider buff, new ESD (I get lost there :P), new ground kits that complicate stuff and a new rep and lock box to play with.
So I think the sheer amount of bugs we got now outweigh the new stuff that this season brought
I haven't played season 9 stuff yet. Hell... even though I created my toons back in January and February I have only recently gotten up to the Wasteland story arc. I probably will not be bothering with S9 stuff for quite sometime. I just do the things I have fun doing. The S9 patching hasn't really changed that except.....
1. The "Featured Foundry" missions are missing and many of the "regular" Foundry missions are also missing.
2. Crystalline Catastrophe Elite only rewards 480 dilithium ore instead of 960 dilithium ore.... unless my memory is faulty and it always reward 480 ores.
I noticed a couple of Doff Missions that I have not seen before, but I dunno if they were new or my memory is bad. They were uncommon missions so I would assume that I would have seen them before in the sectors I visit every time I play. I've been doing Doff missions since early Feb and I devote a decent amount time searching for Doff missions that I want to do.
I guess that means someone in China, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Philippines, Polynesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Arctic and Antarctic or two cantons in Switzerland. gets a meal. Silver lining.
thanks for the belly laugh.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

No. Your wrong. They gain far more money now than before f2p.It happens with ALL mmorpgs. Still people dont get it, seroiusly.
And again (people will never understand) it needs to be a BALANCE, between making money and care about players. This is not happening in STO. And i wonder, will be the people realize this someday??
Its not about having a job, lol, its about being a reasonable people. Why the hell are you going to support the company on any ways, when they are doing NOTHING to improve the game and make content that players will enjoy?? when they keep TRIBBLE up everything they make, when they keep dooing more power creeps with new stupid lock boxes, because they keep forgetting to fix some bugs that NEEDS to be fixed, because they keep igonring players and not considering their advises, not even on TRIBBLE? , because etc.
I have a job, but i will never support cryptic buying anything, because they dont deserve it. Period. I hope one day people realize this. Nevermind, i dont think it will be possible lol.
i feel your pain op i really do ..../wrist.... rolls eyes ... sighs... for real man ? i got one thing to say to anyone and everyone who complains, whines, cries, and throws tantrums .. if you are not happy with the way a game is ..... here it comes .... MAKE ONE!! . simple as that .. now you can make a game that will pamper you and make you very happy .. oh that's if you know how to make one .. anyways good luck to you .
Kit remakes I could care less about, but thought it would be cool when I first saw it.
If you can care less, then why are you saying you are quitting?
Oh...
You mean, "I couldn't care less."
For every one of you there's at least one other who thinks the opposite, and I suspect more.
I haven't played the revamped missions or PVE content yet, but the FE was awesome. A little long for a single reward (with like 7 or 8 choices), but fun.
