    All you need is love.
Does it matter what bits a person has, if you find love with that person?

i suppose i dont take any notice of peoples sexuality because its completely off my radar. i dont really care, to be honest. it makes no difference to me whether you are TRIBBLE, or whether you are an 8 year old child, because in my sto the conversations never go.... there. im here for pretty straight-forward gaming, so none of that other jazz really ever enters into the picture.

This is also my stance on this subject. I simply don't care which sexual orientation other players have because I would never judge them on it anyway. This is not a trait which defines what kind of person they are.

That being said, I also find it strange that some player conversations even touch sexuality (be it straight/homosexual/whatever). Personally I'm only here for epic pew pew, not for this ...

Well there are a lot of friendly people in game. I am an openly TRIBBLE player who is in a non-TRIBBLE focused fleet. I don't plan on criss crossing the planet having sex with my fleetmates or anybody else in game for that matter. Why would it be an issue at all in a MMO.

I salute and praise all the LGBT fleets out there. I have a lot of respect for them and what they do. I also have major respect for those of us who do it outside those circles. I also have an amazing amount of appreciation and respect for those players out there who are not TRIBBLE, but honestly dont care.

To hell with the closed minded jerks.

A poster on a watch collecting forum I belong to once observed: "Where people gather, life happens..."

Yes, I know there are community rules about personal discussions, but to be honest, I think it is only so long before people do begin to discuss their real lives outside of the context of the forum, and in that context, not unrealistic that among adult conversationalists, sexuality may enter into conversations. I certainly know folks who met their SOs through online communities, so I can't say I see it as unusual. That said, I would say that unless someone knows exactly who they are talking to, how old they are etc, such conversation is unnecessary, if not outright inappropriate, and possibly criminal...

As time goes on, these dinosaurs will gradually go extinct. **** 'em. (Actually, on second thought, don't. You might catch stupidosis. :P)

I also do not want to corrupt your mind or soul, nor do I want to impregnate your chest with a TRIBBLE alien that is going to burst out with glitter and jazz hands.

Quite possibly the funniest thing I've ever read... :D

    To prophecythirteen,

On behalf of our community, we are very sorry to hear about the issue you posted about.

While we always hope our wide variety of players can join in this game and overcome their initial stigmas towards players of another kind, we understand that many out there stick to their ideals and project those ideals onto others.

If this person was not comfortable with you, then it is probably best that your friendship stopped where it did.

We are closing this thread to stop any further inappropriate and frankly, disgusting comments that have already popped up.

Please understand we do so to limit the amount of Flamming/Trolling, Harassing Material and Hate Speech TOS violations that have already begun popping up in this thread.

    Thanks for your understanding,
    ~CaptainSmirk
