STO Keeps Disconnecting & Launcher Refuses To Launch! Help!

Howdy great peeps,

Since recently, a few weeks ago, I keep getting disconnected when entering sector space, transwarping, changing character etc, basically anything - and it happens very often, sometimes within a time limit of 1 minute -_-
It's ever since the server went down unexpected...

And when it completely refuses to load - I quit the game & then relaunch the launcher for 10x without it showing the log-in screen & says to me to "Try it again".

Things I have tried:
1. Resetting router.
2. Checking for connection issues.
3. Calling provider for potential issues - none reported.
4. Checking for viruses.
5. Updating drivers & anti-virus (also tried disabling it).

I am European btw (Netherlands).
Never had any issues whatsoever with the game..

Bumping isn't allowed in the forums btw.

However there has been some issues with the connection between EU and the US lately. While I don't know if that has any bearing or not, it's worth mentioning. We'd need to see traceroutes and netstat's (all of which can be found in this forum as a sticky) to be able to even remotely know where the problem is to help yah if possible.

Well if I hadn't bumped, you wouldn't have seen/replied :P
Right ok.. I'll just keep hoping that it will be fixed.

It's extremely annoying, especially when entering Mirror Elite for example..
My team often loses quite a bit of marks because I won't be able to join for about 5 minutes, that is when STO finally launches again..

I was dropped a few times tonight as well. Rather annoying as I was simply traveling from point A to B.

Yes, since Arc became part with STO one can't play STO through Steam. And when it comes to connection problem I tend to find that there is more connection problem when one want's to play the game, even with the best connection speeds available.

I just started playing this game tonight... First mission "Coomunication Problems" all I get is DCed after a minute of play.... This is a real great way to attract new players.... "Hey play this game... No you cant... Seriously come on and play... No you cant..."

I have tried everything I can think of on my end... I think the servers are having issues...

S9 brought up disconnection issues on one of my laptops. I had to assign a static IP and turn off on demand patching and that took care of the disconnects. I still get them sporadically, maybe once a day, but nothing as bad as before (every 1-15 minutes).

Steam can still be used as many actually do use it and your connection you purchased doesn't mean anything which a lot of people don't get.

Your connection could be a 1GB/s but your not just connecting to a router. You're jumping through multiple connections to get to one place which is why when people have connection issues or speed issues we ask them to run a trace route and net stat to see where there is any issues.
