Just your opinion, what ship ingame would have you run screaming to mama, or hunched over in laughter?
For most intimidating, I would like to say the Scimitar, since it's a favorite of mine, but I have to give this one to the Adapted Destroyer. Sleek, pointy, dark. I could see Batman flying it.
As for least intimidating, I give that one to the Olympic. It reminds me of a clown car, with the bulbous head and stubby lil nacelles.
Your thoughts?

I think the Voth City Ship the first time my Odyssey warped into "The Breach". I think I balked at the idea of taking that on (mind you I had no previous experience regarding the weak points, etc.), so upon looking at it, my stomach turned.
The idea of a ship that size dwarfing the biggest ship Starfleet ever constructed... my thoughts immediately turned to Captain Robau on the U.S.S. Kelvin when the Narada came out of the temporal anomaly in the JJ Universe.
My eyes widened and I just went, "Oh my god."
As far as least intimidating?
Probably the Oberth (even though that's kind of an obvious choice), or the Nova. The Nova reminds me of a poodle. A cute little poodle. With sensor analysis on its little pink collar.
Most Intimidating Appearance: D'deridex. Giant, green, the only ship that wasn't the Borg which Picard would make a point of not fighting. Even better? If you look at it from the right angle, it looks like a xenomorph from Aliens.
Least Intimidating Appearance: Scimitar. It's just so pathetic. It was a TRIBBLE design in Nemesis and it's still a crappy looking thing in STO. I mean, all the wings, and fins, and blades and stuff gives it the same commanding presence as a badly decked out cosplayer wearing bladed armor at Dragoncon.
If you feel Keel'el's effect is well designed, please, for your own safety, be very careful around shallow pools of water.
I don't really find any of them intimidating. For me Star Trek ships in general have a sort of CBS Approved Rated PG sheen about them. They look good, but never scary.
Least intimidating on the other hand, personally speaking, is the D'kora. It's a cross between a steam iron and a doorstop, pretty sure the Ferengi only went with that design because it was the cheapest...
Least: Olympic or the Bastion, they both look rather like... well 'toys' , it's really hard to take them seriously.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

'...I can tell you that we're not in the military and that we intend no harm to the whales.' Kirk: The Voyage Home
'Starfleet is not a military organisation. Its purpose is exploration.' Picard: Peak Performance
'This is clearly a military operation. Is that what we are now? Because I thought we were explorers!' Scotty: Into Darkness
'...The Federation. Starfleet. We're not a military agency.' Scotty: Beyond
'I'm not a soldier anymore. I'm an engineer.' Miles O'Brien: Empok Nor
'...Starfleet could use you... It's a peacekeeping and humanitarian armada...' Admiral Pike: Star Trek
Most intimidating is Scimitar hands down in performance/firepower. Nothing is more deadly than one of these well-built in hands of a skilled player.
Plus I just love the appearance, looks great and I like flying it everytime.
Least intimidating of T5 ships, are Galaxy variants and Defiant.
Well...probably the Obex, or whatever its real name is, given the fact that being intimidating is basically its entire purpose in life.
Least intimidating? The Flattened Chicken. AKA the Galaxy. To this day, I cannot understand why anyone thinks this ship is awesome. Nostalgia can only carry you so far.
...which makes it the least intimidating to me, over the Oberth and Olympic.
Most intimidating? To me its not actual ship classes but more specific instances of a ship. For instance, and forgive me its name escapes me at the moment, but the D'Deridex that harasses you in "Ground Zero". Especially when you are new to the game and you encounter it for the first time! I literally did a lap of honor round the house when I eventually destroyed it! :P

Most Intimidating to me? Hmm, at this point, it would be the various 'claw' shaped ships (Tholian, Breen). The Scimitar looks like a joke, a duck bill with wings. If one has the Haakona Warbird, I suggest using some of the Haakona parts in reconfiguring the Ha'Feh or Ha'Nom Warbirds. using some of the sleeker, rounded parts turns it into properly looking 'Birds of Prey'.
Least Intimidating? Nebula/Atrox.
Also, the Olympic, a Clown Car? I'd rather call the Olympic Hull a 'Hitachi Back Massager'. Especially when, on the ship tailor, someone uses the Olympic 'Saucer' with the Horizon Class Hull (and mentally blocking out the Nacelles and Pylons).
The least intimidating is pretty much any OLD cryptic ship design, preferably the envoy or celestial types. I mean...LOL. Wow, I'm in real danger against those silly-looking things... :P
Most intimidating for me would be the forsaken ship from Gre'thor a.k.a. the Kar'fi in a close tie with the Hegh'ta BoP (all them cannons!).
Least intimidating? The Obelisk hands down, I can't help myslef but laugh whenever I see that thing - it looks like it's having issues holding itself together.
There's nothing scarier to old-school Trekkies than a Borg cube. Well, until you destroy it in one pass.
I think the Andorian escorts look like a proper Star Trek warship, sort of like a spacegoing Apache gunship. Or something like the KDF BoPs and Peghqu', lots of big visible cannons ready to ruin your day.
The sci Golfball ships are pretty non-threatening.
Most, probably the defiant. one for its iconic status for blowing everything up and the fact most of the really good players that have destroyed me in pvp tend to fly defiants.
least, the connie. why? because its not tier 5 (yeah, i went there).
Most intimidating: Well definitely the Borg and the Voth city ship, but really any humungous capital vessel to me.
Least intimidating: Well a type 8 shuttle sure comes to mind, well actually any shuttle for that matter I suppose unless they are attacking me myself with nothing to protect me.
Most: My buddy Arristid's Avenger with the temporal set. That Beam Overload chroniton DBB hits you, you're gonna feel like the USS Kelvin when the Narada showed up.
Least: Voth fortress ship. Lousy defensive coverage and nothing but a big fat target.

MOST intimidating: O to tha $%TRIBBLE%-n BERTH! Because if someone rolls up on you in the Big Bad O, you gots ta be wondering: What are they doing? Are they crazy? Oh my god! They ARE crazy! HELP!
LEAST intimidating: The Galaxy X. That third nacelle? They're overcompensating.
From what I've seen in PvE, Scimitar pretty consistently dishes it out.
Least intimidating? I'd say probably the Olympic, just looks so silly. That being said, my science ALT had one at that level.
Oberth has its place - for RPing the suicidal one at Wolf 359. I wonder if it is even possible to be intimidating in one - that would be a true test of skill I guess. (Is it the Starfleet Battles channel that runs stuff with the lower level ships?)

The least imitating... That would be the Vesta... You'd have to look long for a bulkier an laughable design than that.

Least intimidating? Galaxy Class including its variants.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
Least Intimidating: Failaxy-R.

Never been that scared of African masks...
You beat me too it :P

Most intimidating for me is the Scimitar.
Klingon-side, I would say the Kar'Fi. The Tal'Shiar Adapted warships for the Romulans.
Federation vessels that would fit the bill would be the Maelstrom and Gryphon classes, followed closely by the Galaxy-X.
The least intimidating, visually, would be the T'Liss, Oberth Class, and the Gorn vessels (they look too spartan and generic to be scary visually)
Most scary to me is something like the gurumba or the other nauscissian designs.
Least...Any with a inexperienced captain.

Praetor of the -RTS- Romulan Tal Shiar fleet!
Least Intimidating: Anything not captained by CPT Kirk.
Least: Voth fortress ship. Lousy defensive coverage and nothing but a big fat target.

As far as least I would pick the Risian Corvette.
