    I totally agree.

either get some new servers, more servers to spread the load, or take the servers off the master side of things, and let ppl's own computers handle the heavy processing, and the servers just coordinate between who on,and doing what.

Hopefully it's back up in an hour or 2, I'm wide awake as it is and could use the distraction, assuming I don't crash before then.

no Neverwinter is down as well so this seems to be affecting more than just STO now.

I'm not going to get mad since I get to play the game for free and at that the gameplay, missions, and graphics are pretty good. I do hope they extend the mirror event for a couple days to make up for the down time or just give everyone a few event pieces to use since we couldn't run the missions.

Looks like all of PWE's games are down. Again.

Any wagers on how long it will take to fix this time? Six hours? Nine?

Nope - Champions Online is still up (successfully logged in) - so is the STO Tribble server. Neverwinter is down for me too, though.

wont matter. The team is aware of the downtime (Trendy is obviously on top of it and Brandon knows about it as well) So they will get back to us as quickly as possible :)

Twitterbomb the team to make 'em go faster.

Maybe if they stop sharing servers with there other games. I am not a expert on tech or game design but something about running MMOs the size they are off one server seems flawed. Or Im all wrong and thats not the problem at all.

The only server that's shared is the account server AFAIK.

I'm sorry but a few hours downtime once a week is hardly a reason to not be able to complete an event. :P
