free Zen for surveys

Is it a waste of time or rip off, I spent a bunch of time a few days ago while the game was down doing surveys and earned around 400 Zen, coming up on 3 days and still havent seen it. How long does it take to get or have people had problems getting Zen at all?

I have tried twice, and never received a single zen for my efforts. It appears to me to be nothing more then a gather my information scam, but if you've actually received the zen, I guess it is only my opinion. I always received the you are not eligible after giving them all my information *shrugs*

I thought WoW's forums had angry elitist snobs, but I never could have imagined the level STO forums has.

Have you been hiding under a rock?

This is common knowlege... (Sorry if you are brand new... In that case: Welcome to PWE).
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

First, understand what a survey online actually is. It is an advertising avenue for particular companies and products. A method by which either potential customers are exposed to a product or a map showing where people are spending money for various products. The gist is that it isn't actually free, someone pays for it and that only happens when someone buys something.

If you look closely, every survey will usually have some commitment to make a purchase or at least subscribe to another manufacturer who will require some sort of purchase. Basically, if you didn't already need to buy something, you're not getting credit for Zen for free. That and the fine print that releases the advertiser from having to give anything without a purchase even though the ad misleads the customer into believing that something can be had for nothing but a few questions that may likely never make that advertiser any money at all.

Your local lottery has better odds and far less frustration, unless you're actually looking for what the survey is about, then good luck.

Which offer service do you get? Peanut lab or Sponsorpay? If its Sponcorpay, then good luck getting anything out of them.

I do surveys regularly, with Peanutlab and generally get the zen right away.

Also. i've never been asking to make a purchase while doing a survey in order to get zen.
Well excuse me for having enormous flaws that I don't work on.

I did peanutlabs, and its the surveys above all the offers where you dont buy anything, if you get all the way through and pass u get zen. 3 days and nothing, so just curious as to why, I look at transactions and they say credited.

Another thing on the surveys are: Only do the Surveys that the 'Provider' itself is hosting, to not do any survey that sends you on a Merry Go round over 2 or 3 Websites until you get to the actual survey..

ok figured it out, you have to goto your wallet and transfer it to sto, I thought it would be done automatically, but it makes sense since its used to start multiple games and they need to know which game to send it to

I can say that sponsorpay is generally more reliable than peanutlabs. I checked the earn zen thingy three times. The first time, way back, was only peanut labs and it was a scam, basically. The second time I looked up sponsorpay, roughly a year ago. I was lucky to catch a window of opportunity which would reward ~400 zen to subscribe and play 3 free to play browsergames (so ~1200 total) for half an hour each. It was a fair "deal" so to speak, but something like that never was offered again. They "paid" quickly and everything worked. The next time, it was peanut labs again. Spent 20 minutes on a survey (which I answered *more or less* accurate ;) ) only to be booted on the very last question (state a ZIP) - they took all the answers and paid nothing because "oh, well, you are not from a region important to us. We could have asked that BEFORE but lol. Now we got answers anyways."

Peanut labs is in my opinion a highly questionable roulette. Better stay away from it. And never ever use offers that require you to download anything (you basically load a huge chunk of malware or trojans on your system) and never ever fill in real personal details. Use a proxy while taking surveys, the usual stuff.

I've had pretty much the opposite experience and gave up with Sponsor Pay as everything there just seemed like a dead end. That said - I've only done the quick surveys and videos on PeanutLabs as they are the only reliable ones.

I do the 74 zen surveys that show at the top and the 3 zen videos on peanut labs. Sponsor pay doesn't show in the uk.

I can usually make about 400 - 560 zen per week doing these, and to be honest it helps when building a solo starbase.:D:D

Also will agree, the other offers aren't worth it.
