On the other hand, corporations are helpless unless people are willing to buy/use whatever they provide/sell. If people boycott a corporation's goods and services, they'll have all the power.

We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them."

You guys realize, even when the server comes back up, it'll take a while to get back in the game because so many people will be logging in at once.

I dont have to be fast at logging in.. just faster than you

Wow must suck being a foundry author now, they lose their old foundry event from the hourly event system, now have to wait over a month for these foundry weekend events to come back up only to have it ruined by an outage.

on the brightside if tv has taught this will lead to really cool cyborgs. or magic becoming real, don't ask me how.

if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

Please don't tell me that you actually believe that.

The only thing more scary than not knowing your rights is thinking you have rights you do not.

Freedom of speech has absolutely nothing, zero, zilch to do with messages on a privately owned message board online.

You are allowed to post at the discretion of the owners of this site, you have absolutely no "right" whatsoever to do so, here or any place else.
As George Carlin once said: "You have privileges, granted to you by a few to keep you subservient, not rights"

    National Parks=A companies private website?

I need to lay down for a minute.

    You're being obtuse.

A private forum is a private forum and you have no rights on it.

You do have rights in public spaces, however, but if they are made private those rights are gone. That is the only point I'm making.

    This.

The Foundry authors basically put in tons of work with no compensation whatsoever except to put up material for the rest of us to enjoy. It sucks for their one moment that may come around every three months or so to get ruined. I have a lot more sympathy toward those guys than I do that the people whose salaries my monthly fees are paying are having to work late because currently the product that they are charging me for does not work.

I actually really like "Faith of the Heart". Never understood all the hate it gets.

It may not be purely instrumental, but the lyrics are exactly what Star Trek is supposed to be about.
