They definitely said a new playable faction for season 10. There are technical issues with using a faction that has ships or players in the game so it will probably a first encounter spices (to this game, not star trek) like the VOTH. The consenses seems to be for a mini faction like the romulan and allied with the fed/klingon fleet system. J would prefer a klingon only alliance or better yet domination of the klingon faction and the storyline possibilities seperate from fed dominated expansion.
I would rather them release the Cardassians (as a faction) and join them with the Republic subsequently resulting in a third independent faction. I know it's unlikely to happen, but I'd throw money at that like no tomorrow.
I wouldn't mind having the ability to customize my embassy/reward bridge officers. Not to mention, further customize my tier four diplomatic reward bridge officer. It would be nice to see my Gorn in a proper Starfleet uniform.
And my female Orion in a starfleet uniform as well... *GASP* Not in undies! :eek:
I'd just kill for the Bank, Mail and Exchange to be on my starship.
Tuffli and Cell Ship. Although I would like easier access to those freighters similar to being able to access shuttles from a dropdown menu. My boff layout sometimes breaks when switching from starships to freighters and back.
Give us the TNG TRIBBLE! Give us an Enterprise D equivilent to the Belfast interior! Give us the ability to cosmetically change out interiors! to include selection of warp cores and ship schematic okudagrams, and boff station layouts on the bridge; ie where the helm officer sits or where the first officer sits or stands even, give us something more like trek, and more our own at the same time! i believe my post will be glossed over, at least I made MY expectations known.:D

Making the tailor system a little less complicated would be nice. ATM I don't bother with making different uniforms because I get irritated about 2 minutes into trying it.

I'm not saying that a new faction is not going to come, I'm saying it's not gonna be coming any time this year. The Romulan Republic has barely been out a year and they need time to focus more on them.

They definitely said no plans for another faction in the expansion/season 10. The expansion will be some NON-fraction feature.
It's also good to remember that all plans are subject to change. :P
Yeah. But that being subject to change means it's more likely that a featuring being worked on for 18 months will drop away than that a feature that takes 18 months will randomly be added. In general, the things "subject to change" that work in our favor as added features tend to be small quality of life side projects, not Cryptic suddenly saying, "Whoops! We found time to add 20 ships and 35 missions at the last minute!"
I wouldn't doubt that we might see a new faction in late 2015 but if they weren't planning one three months ago, it's definitely not coming in the next two major patches after S9.
I would throw my two strips for ship interiors especially all the iconic ones from the shows and movies. TNG up wanted badly and TMP down would be nice.
After seeing the new ESD on tribble we know they have more than enough capability to do the interiors that we want. I would also vote for more functionality to those interiors with even more to do. Redo and touch up all the old bridges in the C-Store to include full interiors make them stop looking like kitbash knockoffs.

As I am sure many folks have noticed, there are much fewer ships available for the KDF than the Federation, but it need not be that way-there are a great number of npc faction ships that could be added as c-store ships or fleet ships, for minimal effort compared to making ships from scratch. Plus, at this moment, non-Klingon players have no non-Klingon options for shuttles at the moment.
Bridges: Romulans have only the one bridge, it would be nice if there was at least a Reman bridge and a TNG-era bridge to choose from. Orion, Nausicaan, and Gorn bridges would likewise be very appreciated by KDF players, I'm sure.
Independent Romulan Faction/balance Romulan faction: Romulans at the moment are this weird combination of having comparatively little content to call their own, and having *more* and *better* content than the KDF and Federation, with greater access to doffs and boffs, more ships, better traits, etc. They should at least have their own starbases and a contact at command to recruit/trade up reman and Vulcan doffs specifically-and either Romulan boffs and doffs should be equally available to all factions, or the KDF/Federation should have access to boffs/doffs as useful to the subterfuge/romulan operative/covert operative. I think it says a lot about the boff situation that despite the fact that Romulans get a unique boff with a toned down version of abilities normally only given to the incredibly rare Veteran bridge officers...something I imagine most kdf/federation players would be happy to have, yet is completely sidelined by the subterfuge/ro/co.
Reman ships: Right now there are only two types of Reman ships, the scorpion-a fighter, and the scimitar....a dreadnought. Why nothing in between? It would be nice to have something for Remans besides those two ships....I'm not counting different colored reskins of Romulan ships.

More than one story mission a season, more persistent "playground" areas like the Dyson sphere. Give me those and I'll be happy. Anything else is fluff.

in a previous thread complaining about bugs in the game i commented that if all players asked for in the next update was bug fixes we might get somewhere, i can see from many comments in this thread that my advice was totally ignored.
i also made comment that shortly after updates there would be threads asking for stuff in the next update and how bugs were not get mentioned but you have suppassed everyone with this thread as season 9 is not even out yet and already you are asking for what you want in 9.5/10 and still hardly any mention of bugs.
When I think about everything we've been through together,

Actually, if you could go back and make New Romulus ground not suck too, that'd be great. I love the area but the content is just terrible.

3.) Revamp of ship phaser weapons!
4.) Ability to discharge Tovan Khev or rename him!
5.) Remove Lock Boxes and add the stuff that's in them into dilithium store or maby to sell them at vendor!!!!!!
6.) Fix bugs in the game!
7.) Revamp STFs.
8.) Add ability for team mates to bann AFKs from STFs!!!!
