    KDF costumes may be fixed tomorrow. That's good news at least.. so maybe something to try would be to talk to one of the guys that worked on that codefix and see if it affected weapon visibility?

    I am aware knwon issue doesn't always mean that. My response was directed at a singular comment so please check that before having a dig at me. He had said he never heard of this bug before 2 weeks ago so how was it a 'known issue'. Implying that it had been around for years but hadn't ever affected him before. I was just clearing that up.

    It was confirmed in this thread;
    I've confirmed that any Stance other than Standard is affected by this bug. Appropriate people have been notified, but I have no E.T.A. for a fix at this time.

    I'll look into the Omega Carbine and Synchronic Proton Rifle and get those written up as well.

    Since a recent patch, not sure which one. My ground weapons no longer show 'holstered' on my characters, unless I am running, after I stop they disappear again. I have tried unslotting/reslotting the weapons. I have also tried toggling the hide/show button, but to no avail.

    I am not sure what happened but its rather annoying.

    i know how you feel, i have noticed it on 1 or 2 alts for about a week now as they carry a sword on their backs, land at esd transporters pad, not showing , go to move it appears, come to a stop and away it goes again. got annoying so switched weapons visuals off until its corrected, have not checked my kdf alts yet who carry their bat'leths..

    It wasn't in the patch notes and they never said it was fixed.

    There is a thread with this problem and there had been responses from Cryptic http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1028091

    Any stance but standard and your weapon won't show on your character unless you are moving. The stance is something you can change at the uniform tailor for those who don't know.

    So be patient. A fix is in the works.

    Oh wait, now i remember, sorry for the confusion.

    They said that they already knew the problem and in the next patch it will be fixed. But i dunno why the hell coudnt they just fix it in the patch of this week.. (nm, i suposse it is because that is too much work for cyptic...).

    1) apply/use Ice Boots
    2) unholster your weapon
    3) C (Crouch)
    4) X (Zoom)
    5) Keep moving or R (running)

    all good suggestions as a work-around, however this 'defect/bug' looks more and more like some pacifist got hold of STO code and wants to make all social zones a weapons free environment.

    I sure hope I am wrong and cryptic/pwe backs out what ever code broke the stances showing weapons, otherwise they better start giving out a lot more new emotes. :D

    This concerns ground weapons displaying on my character. When moving, they appear normally, yet when I stand still, they disappear. I've tried it out on multiple outfits, with the same problem occurring. Is it something on my end, say a certain outfit piece, or are others having this issue?

    This is a known issue currently under investigation, and YES a dev HAS addressed it

    Shhhh. People don't know that. I don't even know that, so it can't be true.

    Still this bug seems relatively minor. I wonder why it is being such a pain in the rump for Cryptic right now. Maybe it is evolving and kicking their collective butts.

    NEW PHOTOS TAKEN TONIGHT WITH INFO AS FOLLOWS NEW BUG ISSUE
    Spices: Alien FED
    Stance = STANDARD.
    ISSUE - Weapon invisible on stance = [Omega Force Antiproton Autocarbine Mk XII]. Image glitches. See photos.

    TRIED: Standard stance, moving, running, even my all time fav fixer for this type of bug [Frosted Boots] ALL failed test weapon is still invisible. No work arounds besides unholstering/b (shooter mode) or using another weapon for [Omega Force Antiproton Autocarbine Mk XII].

    Weapons Are Still Usable! However They Disappear With Stance Other Than Standard, Ice Boots, Unholstering/shooter Mode, Moving/running, All The Things I Said That You Quoted That Do Make Weapons Visible Yet They Are Always Usable.

    The Only 1 Out Of 30 Weapons I Tested That Was Always Invisible Was The Omega One. However The Omega One Seems To Be The Worst One As It Is Not Visible Until You Click H To Unholster Then A New Issue Is Visible Being The Gun Has Graphical Image Issues That Is Confirmed By Me, My Fleet Leader, 3 Fleetmates And A Kdf Friend All Say The Same Thing.

    Even If The Weapons Appear Invisible They Are Still Usable Thus Your Comment Is Trollish To Say The Least And False. If You Want Help Test Stuff As I Did With Standard Stance And If Or When You See A Glitch: Screen Shot It, Upload It, Give Correct & Helpful Information All As I Have.

    The Closest Thing I Can Think Is A Bug That Is Affecting The Characters With Stance Other Than Standard That Makes The Game Think The Item Is Set To Not Show. Example Click U In Game Now See The Eye Next To Items When You Open The Eye The Item Is Visible When You Close The Eye The Item Is Not Visible. I Am Stumped On The Omega One. Thank You.

    This is a separate and known issue to the stances one. That weapon has it's own problem. Thanks for the report.

    I can tell the last tribble build brought the weapons back. Though the Omega carbine and Devidianbusters rifle still haven't been fixed.

    Come on, guys, what is the problem with these 2 ones?

    Especially since one of them is a weapon most players will get because it's part of the Devidian storyline (and is also pretty efficient against Borg groups). Drake tells you you need it, his contact tells you you need it and your BOff act like if you always chose it.

    I have the same problem of any weapon disappearing when standing still and appearing when moving on my 5 toons

    whoops, I stand corrected..I forgot I had that turned off after getting annoyed by the constant magically appearing/disappearing weapons.

    its fixed!
