Ok this is my suggestion abut the game and PVP.
Have you ever consider to give players STFs which are based on racing trough the hoops, so the players can test their skills as pilots. You could do that for small craft to make better use of it and that we have greater value of small craft cause players within the game don't usually fly them at all. We have only 2 STFs and 1 PVP arena for them.
players could Q for race and racing trough the hoops of the arena where players can shoot and kill each other while they are racing. Who ever complete the course of 3 , or 5 laps wins some kind of prize at the end of racing. Players can use weapons,devices and the speed of racing is only limited to impulse, so no full impulse can be used.
In star trek Voyager there was an episode Where Tom Paris and B'Elanna Torres were racing against other factions of the quadrant. Further more you could make rep system , where players can put their marks from racing and build them self some small craft from rep system , that way players will have some accomplishment of playing the content, and you could cover another great episode from star trek Voyager called ALICE where Tom Paris is building his ship from scratch.
I think these idea would fit perfectly within Delta quadrant where it seams story of STO is going right now.

I would really love it if factions went away. Or at the very least were significantly diminished. It will allow for more pug runs, and more pvps to be run and more fun to be had with our brothers from inferior mothers. Since I've started STO I've always hated the arbitrary nature of the conflict and the divide. All it does is limit the population pool of people not in massive multifaction fleets and in PublicEliteSTFs that can enjoy the experience together.
This can even be done with a simple in story rationale. Something along the lines of "Well now that we have threat X looming upon us all, we cannot afford to not pool our resources and combine our efforts to combat this threat". The Fed feels morally superior, the KDF feels arrogant, and the Romulan schemes.
And everyone plays nicely with each other in 'wargames' when the fed and the kdf finally get to join forces in "Borg Minefield", PVP "training", "Starbase Q24", "Voth Strike Force", "Joint Fleet Defense", and everyone's favorite "Diplomatic Marauding of the X Cluster".
Because lets face it, the war has gotten old, stale and pointless. And the Romulan Star Empire will rise again.

Can we have a LTC for the Gal X? at the very least for the fleet version?
Is the lance accuracy going to be addressed?
Do you TRULY feel you have pleased the STO community with the Gal R/X revamp?
Have you read the feedback since releasing the details of the revamp?
Those questions are for the Gal X/R.. for me personally I also wish that the Gal R gets more firepower by adding an ensign for even just have LTC. It is more enjoyable when you get to fly a ship using most of the tactical abilities like BO/TS/HY.
I also would like to issue a challenge... take the Gal X and take up against a Scimitar and let us know if you truly feel that it is in line with DN's.
For the gameplay..
Is it possible when you go thru the story to choose having more space battles over ground stuff or even vice versa? I enjoy the space combat than I do the ground plus the ground sometimes doesn't even make sense with you running back and forth.
My suggestion is to make story missions shorter and not too long as it can be dragging.
Can we have more Borg STF's? or choose stf's like Fed Alert and choose Borg as the opponents... and make the rewards tailor what enemy you fight.
Can we have Dill rewarded for all STF's?
All I can think of now but I will edit if I come up with more.

DST starts this upcoming Sunday, and is not in effect yet.
Well, when I got hired about 2 years ago, I was hired on as an environment artist. Just a few months after we were down a ship artist and I was asked if I would step in. I did ship art for a few months before moving back to environments. While there I created a few ships, Armitage and Vesta to name a couple.
Making ships was awesome! Now that we have a full ship team of 3! I have yet to be asked to help out. They are great team and have everything pretty much covered.

I would expect that they would increase the dev team in all reguards to meet the demand of the current market.

You're wrong. Almost to the point of it being ludicrous. There were thousands of posts that were asking for very little, very realistic things. It's really not much of a change to improve a ship that has been a runnin... erm crawling joke in this game for YEARS.

If I may...
Ever since Season 7 launched, many characters have been hit with a bug that prevents Accolades related to accomplishing the Optionals on Elite STFs from completeing, even when they have met the requirements. This bug is preventing many affected characters from claiming the coveted MACO/Honor Guard/Omega costume unlocks. Its been about a year now since Borticus opened a thread about said bug, and its being kept alive by those of us still determined to see a resolution to it. I would like to ask if there is ANYTHING on the horizon regarding the Season 7 Accolade bug.
Can we expect a resolution? The natives of that thread are kinda getting restless... *Sweatdrop*

Nah, it's that one. It was just something I noticed because I rerolled a bunch of toons at the start of the year. Wasn't sure if it was something that happened because of going from DX9 to DX9ex...cause it had been the only change on my part since I'd last flown it and then noticing the pink. Though, I guess it's not really pink. But pink was the easiest to say without trying to hunt down any particular shade.
For the most part (99.7%) or so, the touchups you guys have been doing here and there are awesome.
It's just a quirky thing here and there where you drop a shield bubble where there's some ambient fog or the like - and - you can no longer see the screen because it's a blinding white or yellow. A totally different experience to dropping the Triolic Pattern Enhancer in Step and having the screen go black, heh.
But it was just a more general question - the addressing part...environmental art and all that - including ambiance, lighting, the whole kit 'n kaboodle as well as the physical scenery - or whether there was a distinction between the map folks and bringing the maps to life folks...

Firstly can I say that I think its fab you and captain smirk have been interacting with the community, its really appreciated
I do have one question regarding a common graphics issue which many players seem to be experiencing. I know this may not be your specific field of expertise but it does affect the view of the environment somewhat to say the least.
Often since season 7 I have been experiencing some insane graphics issues, blinding white screens, highly simplified weapons fire and explosions etc,sometimes pulsating white ships or equipment, half visible (only the quality of the item) items in my inventory and other things. I haven't changed my machine or settings in anyway since starting sto.
I find that reloiading the game solves the issue, but I do have it several times in a long gaming session(say. 5 hours or more). Originally I thought it was related to map changing, but today I stood idle chatting for some time and the issue ocurred.
If it were just myself experiencing this bug I probably wouldn't have brought it up, but seeing "graphics bug, reloading" or some such thing has becom commonplace in fleet chat nowadays.
A small map related issue, I have noticed when in the city in dyson battleground, often when running down to the t-rex at the end, if I corner too tightly (trying to get there faster) around one or two of the bends that seperate the flatforms from the main areas, there seems to be a gap where I occasionally fall through the map.
My question on behalf of my fleet mainly with regard to my first point is if the team is aware of this and could offer a fix or solution to these problems.
And finally just a map visual compliment, I think most members of my fleet,myself included agree thaat the exterior of the dilithium mine is a totally beautiful map visually, its a map we all visit often that is both dynamic and visually appealing.
Your map work and design for me is one of the most amazing visual aspects of the game.

Oh yes please, I have some beef with the starbase incursion maps. To be precise with the difference between the kdf and fed incursions. I probably have run a 4 digit number of incursions on the fed side and maybe 'only' 10 on the kdf because of this issue.
Due to whatever weird reason you cannot jump as easiely onto the crates in kdf incursions as you can in fed incursions, which makes it 'slightly' more difficult to play them effective.
Take a non-cat character and play a fed incursion, jump onto some crates to take advantage of sniper positions. Then take a non-cat character and play a kdf incursion. Try to jump onto the same spots. And then ask yourself. Why?
Disclaimer: If the above posting somehow somebody would motivate to change FED incursions to a point that you cannot jump onto crates, please disregard it. Or do some other terrible stuff. Just move along then.

A small map related issue, I have noticed when in the city in dyson battleground, often when running down to the t-rex at the end, if I corner too tightly (trying to get there faster) around one or two of the bends that seperate the flatforms from the main areas, there seems to be a gap where I occasionally fall through the map.
My question on behalf of my fleet mainly with regard to my first point is if the team is aware of this and could offer a fix or solution to these problems.
And finally just a map visual compliment, I think most members of my fleet,myself included agree thaat the exterior of the dilithium mine is a totally beautiful map visually, its a map we all visit often that is both dynamic and visually appealing.
Your map work and design for me is one of the most amazing visual aspects of the game.

Oh yes please, I have some beef with the starbase incursion maps. To be precise with the difference between the kdf and fed incursions. I probably have run a 4 digit number of incursions on the fed side and maybe 'only' 10 on the kdf because of this issue.
Due to whatever weird reason you cannot jump as easiely onto the crates in kdf incursions as you can in fed incursions, which makes it 'slightly' more difficult to play them effective.
Take a non-cat character and play a fed incursion, jump onto some crates to take advantage of sniper positions. Then take a non-cat character and play a kdf incursion. Try to jump onto the same spots. And then ask yourself. Why?
Disclaimer: If the above posting somehow somebody would motivate to change FED incursions to a point that you cannot jump onto crates, please disregard it. Or do some other terrible stuff. Just move along then.
