That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.
I call it, the Stoutes paradox.
LMAO all I could see was Dr Sheldon Cooper as I read that. Well done sir.

I read this and laughed while my brain hurt trying to navigate through it.
If I read it correctly and did my sums right, Stoutes' Paradox seems to define nerf's existence as a quantum state. Which means nerf can be both OP and nerfed at the same time, depending upon one's viewpoint. So nerf can accomplish whatever the viewer wants it to at the present moment and will remain in its current state until the viewer stops paying attention to it. Whereupon nerf reverts to the other state.

Actually, Stoutes' Paradox assumes the nerf exists outside time. If you destroy it at one point in the timeline, you destroy it in all points of the timeline. Same concept was used in the ST: Enterprise episode, Twilight. Honestly, the only time I felt more cheated by a time travel plot in the entire IP was JJ Trek.
JJ is OP. Hit 'im with a nerf bat, then nerf nerf (assuming, still, nerf exists outside time...)
The G-X, updated or not, is still a relic of a bygone era during STO's initial launch year. She's a decent tank with a little more firepower than, say a Star Cruiser, but tanking has absolutely no purpose or value in STO's current build and with current Rep and Fleet Gear and a variety of Doffs, escorts can keep themselves alive just fine without the need for a zombie healer.

That goes for both PvE and especially PvP.
Blast from the Past post is outdated, plz revamp

Dude. Did you read this thread before you posted? You're supposed to complain that something is UP/OP and needs fixing.
Not getting with the program is OP. Nerf.
BTW, I bought the bundle. So far it is as fun as I hoped.

Posting blind with no clue what thread you're in is OP, plz nerf.
Imma take advantage of the Zen sale and buy the dang 3-pack when it comes out. Even if it isn't OP, saucer sep, phaser lance and cloak will still be fun. Even if it is on the ugliest Hero Ship in the franchise.
Fun is UP. Plz buff.
EDIT: Added link, and now I'm supposed to let the kids help make guacomole. Aiee.... Maybe I'll finally spring for the T1 Connie finally...
Just a followup: Taking advantage of both the Zen Sale AND the 3-Pack sale, I bought both the GalXthree and the TOS Connie. Having flown the T2 version in the sphere with some sucess, I must say I was disappointed at the T1's performance.
It is still fun.
The GalXthree (I like that name, just came to me) has done me well, as well. You can read about my exploits last night, I'm linking to avoid the "wall of txt is op" posts. Honestly, for the antique that it is, the ship is kinda OP...
It is still fun.
Fun is still UP. Plz buff the GalXthree OR the TOS Connie. At least put the TOS bridge on it (or offer it seperate from the $20 bundle that is otherwise useless to me...)

Accusations of mistakes concerning necromancy are OP, plz apply cool water to stop the burning and bandage for the stake wound.
I'll forgive you if you'll forgive me.
BTW, I don't think you'll need more than some balm for chaffing from a "stake wound" since they just tie you to it. The rope probably did more to hurt than the stake. Oh, and fire.
Oh, and something is OP. Plz go find it and Nerf it.

On phone right now, and watching video (waiting for it to load, that is) is painful, so forgive me for not knowing what you posted.
On an unrelated note, I just had a bit of an epiffany:
As I read Stoute's post about Rahm being a dull boy I thought "What if they are a girl?" Then, I thought "But thier avatar is a boy..." as is Stoutes, as is Jon Sills, as is Rylana... Wait...
Rylana's a GIRL??? I'd ask when this happened, but I don't need that explained to me...
Now, in my defense, I'm usually reading from my phone, and I identify forum regulars more by Avatar pic than by name (or by Sig pic, sorry Iconians) since names are small and harder to read most of the time. In my head, Rylana had always been "Ryan-something aka Willy Wonka".
I'm a bit embarrassed to not have figured out that every captain in Rylana's sig have female names.
Why does this all matter? I guess it doesn't. But still, Mind Blown.
Now watch, I can be even more embarrassed when I'm told I'm wrong...

At least bumping a thread full of nerf assures a soft landing.

Yeah, but it was so much more fun when the forum had an actual black background.
Darkness is UP, plz Buff.
Fits my mood this AM, too.
