  Same here, I have noticed an extreme amount of chat lag within the game at the moment. There is an average of 7 minutes in between the time of entering a comment and the time it actually shows up in the chat box. The game itself appears to be running smoothly for the most part.

  sunbob or any other poster who is having these problems: Are you receiving more lag on Private Messaging than on chat channels?

  Its all of them. We have resorted to using member comments in the fleet roster lol

  Cant get to pm mode as it keeps saying chat is down. also got severe lag in game and couldn't change characters. Had to exit game and log back in.
  
  The friends list is related to the chat system so will go down when chat does. I've seen that aspect before.

  As this issue is happening both under Mac and Windows clients, and Mac Clients do not support the Arc Beta... I really *really* hope not.
