Wow. Not so useful for me, as it hasn't yet happened to me, ( touch wood) but that is good to know and have. A great and unexpected addition. Also KDF being able to mine at 10 is good.
I predict a post about "Dyson Cat Fixes", and "wen is the kdf costum issu fixed?!?!". I know these will come.
Two questions (one repeated by the poster above me):
1) part of the update indicated the reclaim option is only for equipment, but some if it indicates we can get the ships themselves. Is it the ships or just the equipment we can reclaim?
2) how long after we discharge a ship or toss a special item will we have to reclaim it?
We will be bringing down the Tribble server for maintenance to apply a new update: ST.36.20140123a.18
General:
Reclaim Tab:
In the Dilithium store found in "Special Items and Boxes", captains can now reclaim special consoles and items found on:
All lockbox ships and their unique weapons, items, and consoles.
All lobi ships and their unique weapons, items, and consoles.
All special event ships and their unique items, weapons, and consoles including:
The Breen Raider, Breen Warship, Risian Corvette, Dyson Ships, and Obelisk.
These are not new items and cannot be obtained without the associated ship.
This reclaim tab was created for those times where these items were accidently destroyed.
The items will not be visible in the store unless the captain owns the associated ship and the item is not in the inventory.
The items will cost 0 Dilithium.
Klingons can now mine at Vlugta for the daily mining mission at level 10 just as other factions.
Quick Equip now works correctly in the following zones:
Deep Space K-7
Ganalda Space Station
Known Issue:
KDF captains cannot switch to all costume slots.
Suggestion:
Do you think we could get a more streamlined way to duplicate these special items?
Most are worth it the first time but aren't worth two purchases.
I'm thinking mainly in terms of things like Lobi away team weapons or consoles we'd like to have pre-equipped on multiple ships. I'm not going to shell out Lobi for a second copy of the Temporal set but I would pay dilithium for the convenience of a spare.
Also, while I am NOT asking for items to be automatically accountwide, I think it would be nice if we could pay a fee in dilithium or ZEN to simply copy character unlocks to an alt.
I'm not saying, for example, to make the Jem'Hadar bug accountwide. But if I have it on any character, maybe you could have a 5k ZEN or 750k dilithium option to also claim it on an alt. As it stands, I doubt many people will go for the same lockbox ship twice because of the expense involved (probably upwards of $200) but if owning it on a character allowed other characters on the same account a guaranteed and discounted copy, I think it would raise revenue. Same for the Lobi uniforms, etc.
It's a little ambiguous but I think it means only items on the ships, not the ship itself.
Put them together and you see:
captains can now reclaim special consoles and items found on all lockbox ships and their unique weapons, items, and consoles
Let me see if I read that right: If I discharge my Jem'Hadar Attack Ship, or Obelisk, or Galor, etc, I will be able to reclaim it?
Sorry for the confusion, but the reclaim tab does not include the ships. It was worded incorrectly at the top though it did mention requiring to have the ship in order to claim the discarded items.
Thank you! Reclaim Tab looks good. I take it that the items in it will be available per character and not per account?
Single character only. You need to own the ship on a character in order to reclaim any special equipment it came with. You can only claim the item if you don't have it anymore. This is for people who accidentally discarded a special console or other special equipment that came equipped on a lockbox or lobi store ship, since you can't replace the item without obtaining the ship again and discharging your old ship to commission the new one. This also pertains to special event ships like the breen ships from the winter event (each of them comes with a special console), the risain corvette from the risa summer event (special console), and most likely the equipment that comes with the free version of the dyson ships (secondary defelctor) since you can't get it through episode replay.
And another patch without a fix for the KDF Costume slot bug. No big deal, these costume slots are only something I PAID FOR!!! Time for a fix, this bug has been around far too long leaving me unable to use something I PAID FOR!!!
Any fix incoming for the map markers in sector space for missions/episodes? The circles around a system you need to go to that highlight it are not visible. If you zoom in the area map all the way, it turns out that the marker is exactly the same diameter as the dot that represents the system.
This is a pain when going through the episodes on a new character. I don't have every system location in every single sector block memorized, so sometimes I wind up looking up and down, left and right, for a couple minutes before I finally find the system I need to go to.

And I'm still waiting on the fed Multi-vector assault mode to get impulse bonus back that got bugged and no longer works ever since LoR LAUNCH! Seriously, should have been fixed a long time ago! Made a number of threads reporting it as well.
That will make it easier to pull down Aceton Assimilator consoles. It also means I wont need to keep special engines and junk in the bank or on storage ships.
Still want to get my deleted fleet ship back though... maybe one day

So does this include the Spiral Wave disruptors that are currently 43k dilithium?
If not, why not?
you must've been viewing them on a character in a fleet with some level of dilithium discount unlocked, because they're 45,300 for me...or 380 - number's kind of hard to see on my monitor

Same question. I could see this going both ways (reclaimable because it's on a Lockbox ship, but not because it's a Dilithium store unlock already), but I don't have a Galor with which to test this.
Thank you for promptly addressing my and others concerns in a recent thread about losing lockbox ship consoles. Making STO more user friendly is always appreciated.

I was just ballparking the price, it's been so long since I actually looked in the dil store. But with the full mine discount they're 38,573 (a peculiar number).

must be 45,380 then, because 15% off that is exactly 38,573

I actually like Delta Rising.

No, you can only reclaim a special console from a lockbox/special ship, if you accidentally delete it for some reason.
You have to have the associated ship to reclaim the console.
That is how I read it.
Edit: Any idea on when the Dyson Science ship animation bug is being fixed?
Suggestion:

Actually it's the ships as well. When you read it it says all ships AND their consoles.
Thats almost funny.
I'd be so incredibly pi**ed if I was effected by that at this point....
Yup, just a formatting issue made by the OP.

It has been this way since season 8 launched. I reported it here with a screenshot http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=913501
Could you at least add it to your known issues list? It's driving me crazy.
sorry, no post for you this time, ashkrik :P
