We actually had a dev team competition last year sometime, where people made foods from canon. Jumja Sticks, Raktajino, "Horta Eggs," etc. were all present. I think the winner was "Cake of Evil" by Jheinig. (Modeled after Armus)

I always craved the colored cubes that Kirk use to have on his plate on the TOS. They looked like big chunks of Starburst candy or colored marshmellows. Whenever i saw that I always wanted to have some just to see what the texture was like. Was it like a mellon? was it chewy? was it like Jello? I want some...Please...

I don't remember what the pancake was. #5 was gold pressed latinum. Don't remember what was inside, but it looked the part. DStahl I think made the Horta Cake, which looked great. I don't remember the tray, but I think it was ST gingerbread cookies maybe?

Ah, cool. Is it on your flickr? I couldn't find it. then again you have almost 9000 pics there.
That being said, I am rather found of spicy foods and would definitely give it a go regardless.
I would definitely like to try Romulan ale... although it never really looks like an ale when the serve it on the show, because an ale would be carbonated, and looks more like a liquor such as vodka (only blue).
Also, to the proof conversation of Romulan ale, Everclear, which is a liquor that's basically alcohol and water, maxes out at 190 proof (95% alcohol) which (I don't know if it is true or not) I was told is the highest proof possible, because any more alcohol and it would actually pull water out of the air diluting it down to 95% if left in the open.
Star Trek has so much consumables...which food would you like to try to make and/or eat?
Anything BUT kanar. Either Kanar. Yes, there were actually two of the dark variety (vintage 2327, if I'm not mistaken). It's a miracle Casey isn't diabetic.
My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

16oz Diet Mountain Dew Voltage (regular works too)
4oz Hammer and Sickle Vodka
2tsp of Lemon Juice
There you go. H&S is 9% alcohol, so careful with that.

Best Taste - Jumja Sticks - Charles Gray
Best Presentation - Cake of Evil - Jesse Heinig
Sadly, my "Tea, Earl Grey, Hot." didn't get the recognition it deserved. Too Avant-garde I guess.
Ah! Glad someone found it: http://d3j5vwomefv46c.cloudfront.net/photos/large/725807183.jpg?1359760874
