Star Trek has so much consumables. Tranya, Romulan Ale, Blood Wine, etc... but which food would you like to try to make and/or eat?
I'd like to try those Bajoran Jumja sticks, though the icon used in Star Trek Online reminds me of corndogs...
*...expects a lot of replies to be Romulan Ale...*
*sings* "I like Gammera! He's so neat!!! He is full of turtle meat!!!"
"Hah! You are doomed! You're only armed with that pathetic excuse for a musical instrument!!!" *the Savage Beast moments before Lonnehart the Bard used music to soothe him... then beat him to death with his Fat Lute*
That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.
You can find some imitation Trek food recipes. I found a recipe for Romulan ale that, me being a wuss when it comes to alcohol, made me react like most Trek characters normally do when they first try it. I'd like to try blood wine and blood pie...just so long as they're not made with actual blood. I've always wondered how kanar would taste. It's an alcoholic beverage with the consistency of syrup. It doesn't seem like it would taste that great. Moba fruits and osol twists are the foods I'd be most interested in trying.

They make pudding from blood over in Europe. Just sayin'...
For myself? Jumja sticks, Idanian spice pudding, and raktajino (which is apparently espresso infused with a Klingon liqueur).

I have the cookbook by "Neelix" and many of the recipes are actually pretty good. The beverages however, are pretty much gatorade and food coloring.
But if I were to try anything real, anything synthale. Being drunk then being able to drive or do whatever immediately afterwards, that would be invaluable.
Something Cardassian. Most characters (Cardassians aside) seem to generally not like most Cardassian food, however I'm a bit famous for having strange tastes sometimes.
(Off Topic: It is... strange, sometimes I find myself thinking that I would do far better as a Cardassian than as a human. I'd just have to get used to the heat... but then again, living in Florida for a few years does a good job of nullifying one's affinity for lower temperatures... or, for that matter, any climate preference of any kind.)
The prop food they used was a flour tortilla spread with cream cheese and red and green bell peppers.
Ssharki made a subtle reference to this in "Faces in the Flames"
I'd like to try one of everything. The weirder the better. Just no mushrooms.

Well I love English blood pudding, but somehow I don't think the Klingon version would be anything like it, most Klingon food, not really interested in eating something that's trying to escape from my plate and the Klingon diet seems almost to be about killing the food before it kills you. Romulan ale would probably be at least 200 proof in not higher, I know what that kind of hangover would feel like, I like escargot so the Romulan Snail steak? They show scenes of kids eating Bajoran Jumja sticks so I imagine they might be some kind of sweat, Bajoran food seems the safest of the lot and all of the various alien fruits and veggies look interesting. Absolute no to Ferengi food, they showed way too many closeups in DS9, Neelix's cooking, most of his ingredients were pretty bizarre, angel hair pasta with actual hair and mac & cheese with a cheese that nearly wrecks the ship, so I'm thinking, no.
If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.

They're canonically a lollypop equivalent made from tree sap. So, think a maple syrup-flavored lollypop and you're probably pretty close.

Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.
weyoun 6 (defective clone) sampled pepperoni pizza, so il take that and the whole pizza. ive been known around my area to be the type to eat whole large pizzas and still have enough room for some fries/chips with a little salad cream on them.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
Possibly raktajino I wonder what the extra 'Klingon' ingredient is?
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Other than that, Romulan Osol Twist.

Gahg!!! I love live things!

My character Tsin'xing
I sure hope you cook it first and not cook it rare.

It would feel like you divided by zero, actually, because 200 proof is pure ethyl alcohol.

I can't believe its not been mentioned yet.
Also, anything from Sisko's restaurant. I'd even be willing to sample Aubergine Stew, and I don't like eggplant.
