*MASSIVE* Coliseum Bug

Less than ten seconds into the mission, my main charatcer is now useless.

Once you enter you must (*SPOILER*) scan a station and then it attacks you with an Energy Dampening Beam. (Highlight to read)

I accidentaly hit full impulse while i was scanning and i am stuck just outside scan range with no power.

I can't exit cuz I'm "in combat"

I can't move to scan it

And logging out and in doesn't help.

So, my main is now effectively useless. Dev's please help. :(

    Log out, wait at least 7 minutes, and log back in again. If you were in the instance solo it will be gone and you will be back in sector space.

    If Iog out and use a different toon, will it affect this one?

    Yeah. I had a similar problem in Mine Enemy, where I couldn't scan the 3rd planet. Logging out until the instance cleared worked. Is it 7 minutes? I thought it was 30 minutes for some reason.

    Sadly it happens sometimes. Sometimes there are rare bugs bugs that slip through all QA processes. I was pretty much the only person who had the bug in Mine Enemy where I couldn't scan the last planet. Everybody else was getting the "not enough Romulan groups" bug. Fortunately, it doesn't take too long for the instance to clear.

    I'm experiencing the same problem as we speak. But I wasn't under full impluse. I hate bugs.:(

    another bug...

    i have kill all the desert dog (forgot their name sorry) before the remans ask me to kill them for food.
    that means, no more of them = no food = cant go to the cavern to continu = have to restart.

    DAMN!!!!!

    I did it on tac, I had a different objective so I'm not sure about you, but, did you look around the map for other groups of animals to kill? I know the stuff for mine was spread out over a fairly large area. (Spoiler: tacs have to gather firewood)

    The simple solution to the bug is make it so that the energy beam has a 10 km firing range. If you accidentally go past 10 km, nothing happens and you have to get closer.

    The simple solution to the bug is make it so that the energy beam has a 10 km firing range. If you accidentally go past 10 km, nothing happens and you have to get closer.

    you only have a 6km scan range, so me being caught at 7.01 might as will be 50km, i still cant do anything

    Did you kill the ones way up on the ridge to the left of the cave entrance (facing the cave)?

    Having the same problem though it wasn't caused by full impulse. The beam grabbed me at range 8.18 and I never even had a chance to scan... good to know I can just wait it out.

    Very disappointing though. Two tries and two characters unable to complete due to bugs. Sigh.

    I got the scan range wrong. It should have a 6 km range :) Essentially if you are far enough away to be unable to scan it, it shouldn't work

    It happened to me just now too. Only I was 13.4 km from the satillite.

    Aborting the mission won't work. /killme doesn't do more than open the bug report options. /stuck is not an option because I'm not physically trapped in any of the space objects.

    I'm just going to wait, re-take the mission, and cross my fingers.

    They can fix this easily by having the satillite only grab you if you're within scanning range of it. The current script has it grab you (no matter how far) the moment you go through the post-scan dialog about that hulk.

    me nd a fleet member are stuck on the coliseum mission aswell, both to far from the sateitlle and both traped , this is not good, im useless now

    im stuck after the first match. i talked to him and the last thing i got out of Slamek was he could trust me. now im stuck in the cage standing here waiting to get out or something. and in the box is "wait to be let out" & talk to Slamek. i tried to talk to him but no chance, and im standing in a cage now wondering what the heck to do??? :mad:

    I know it's 2014, but for Legacy of Romulus, I can't finish shutting down the star base. the prompt for changing power output doesn't show up like it did the first time I played it with my Federation, and then my Klingon character. I'm stuck at that part because I currently can';t complete shutting down the base.

    Just managed to finish the Mission a few days a few days agao.

    Yes the interaction with the consol is bugged i know.
    jump on the handrails behind you move around a lttle and you should be capable to interact.

    I don't know what it realy is the cause but it could be that the interaction node is above the consol to interact with so for extremly small toons it might maybe not work.

    I actually suggest standing on the override console next to the power console; it's easier.

    It is not a necro post.

    This episode was fixed before the 8.5 patch. Now is broken again. Please, cryptic fix the trapped and the frozen ones as well, plz!!.

    Standing beside the console doesnt help, since the problem is, you cant activate it. Even if the console is showing the glowing interact thing. I posted this very issue days ago.
