I predicted that, mainly on the basis that they are pushing ARC and the Connie was one of the gifts available through a Steam package. So I don't really think it is so, but will chuckle a bit if I'm right.

Yeah... Again, jetpacks were me. The item not being in the C-Store does not seem to be a big issue to me. This game is nothing but a big database. All the hortas sold before and after that giveaway won't be account-wide unlocks, so the free one must have it's own entery in the DB with an "Acct-Unlk" flag in the appropriate field. They simply substituted one for the other in the store, and swapped back yesterday. If they can do that, they can add a jetpack (or bag of Cheetos for that matter) to the store with relative ease.
The real problem would be the mechanics for it in ESD, or whatever map it'd work in.

Besides why would they add Jetpacks aka "Floaters" to the C-Store ... they only work on Risa ... and are basically for free during the Summer Event ... and even IF they'll add new items to the Store, I'm pretty sure they'll wait if they might sell, before giving them away for free ...

Oh, come now. We all know it isn't gonna happen. Like I said, the bigger problem is the map mechanics. They'll put such a thing in Tribble/Redshirt for a bit first, if only to make sure people aren't getting stuck in the corners they were previously unable to reach. I haven't heard anyone marveling at the jp's on Tribble yet, so...

If ships then any t5 ship, even the ****tiest one, as long as it's t5. Lower tier ships are useless if you are leveled up.

But...what if you're wrong?
Not always; what if there's a console on another ship you want to try, but don't want to spend the cash?
What about the console that comes on them that you can move to higher-tier ships?
