Login server issue? (was: you fixed ARC, what about the rest of us?)

So now that you have fixed ARC, can you PLEASE help the rest of us who are having a miserable time with login server timeout HELL!!!

    All's healthy with the login server at this time, and has been. If you're running into an issue, please post your nettest results here (info on how to do this can be found here) and we'll pass them along.

    I also been getting kicked out of the STO servers for the past 15 hours now. This is what I got from the tracer that you linked to:

    And hundreds of other players seem to have not this problem.

    Do the Nettest and post the results either here or/and send them to the technical support.

    Those things are usually IP related.

    Haven't had any problems myself, going in with multiple characters this evening in STO. Login Servers look fine from my end...

    The launcher for me won't go past "Patching" even without anything to patch.

    About 30 minutes ago, I got bumped off of the server about 3 or 4 times in a row. It seems to have settled down for me since then because I've been playing for 30 minutes straight without any connectivity issues. Weird things be happening up in those hamsta wheelz.

    Couldn't get through to the STO login server earlier this evening. I was having trouble with the CO login, too. Finally got in there, rubberbanded all over the place, then dropped connection while I was in my Hideout. Tried again about an hour later, and lag levels were within acceptable ranges.

    I think the Cryptic Hamster wants some carrots.

    I too been having problems with the log in server for 24 hours now, but according to Branflakes all is going according to pl.......as intended. :rolleyes:

    Probably that one region server that always glitches up.

    Error -2 when loading url /launcher_login

    Using the stand alone launcher / patcher.
    not using steam.
    not using Arc.

    Once I click on the STo patcher, it goes black with the following message.

    There was an error loading the login page. Please restart the launcher and try again.

    My IP is fine, they even reset my port for me, this started happening after the server downtime on Tuesday I think, but there are too many people having the same problem for it to be IP related don't you think?

    Got the usual problem that keeps popping up since S8 , the 20 MB launcher update has been dling for 2 hours at around 0.1k/s , trace shows the usual cognet hub ping at astronomical amounts

    Will be fine when my launcher gets actually updated and can select proxy options for playable pings : but it seems anytime the launcher gets a small update im stuck with the usual since-season-8 connection issues :/

    When I actually do manage to load a map, the ship just sits there....i try to transwarp and the ship zooms off and then just reappears where I started, I can't load assignments or fleet information.....I have experienced lagging and rubber banding rarely, and for the most part over the past year it has been fine. I used play on a 1mb line and a ping of 300ms with no issues, now I have 2mb line and that was going fine, yes, still 300ms, but now it is unplayable. I have been logged in and sitting there for ages now, but at least I can look at my ship, make it point in different directions, and imagine I am playing. Something is hinky somewhere, but no one will fess up....

    This is a ploy for everyone to download ARC . Same thing happened when sony tried their every game launcher some years ago . Bad form cryptic .

    Taking ages to get onto the character screen, about 5 min's for the characters to load up and when I attempt to log one about 50% of the time I'm getting disconnected from server, the rest I'm getting into the game but it's lagging every 20 seconds and getting server not responding constantly popping up.

    Can't use fleet chat as the 'chat' isn't loading, can't access mail, or collect doff mission rewards etc etc, can't even move my ship :/

    same here....betcha that even if it was their problem they would still blame it on isp's and never admit it.
