I for one am enjoying this event. With the extra dil I have a purpose to go to the sphere now. before I would just go there to get my daily commendation then that would be it till the following day.
I personally feel that the dil rewards should be kept after the event, not at their current values Cryptic wouldn't do that, but maybe have an 80 - 120 dil reward instead. I think that this is a good compromise.

I gotta ask the same question. Who or what in the hell would make you guys want to do that? If anything... the calendar should be enriched with a few more events.
Ever try to do a Klingon fleet alert outside of the bonus event? .... You wait for ever and ever ... this will not help.
Add all the other fm stuff. You can waste half a day waiting in ques. Weekends are a little better, but if they arbitrarily decide some other stuff needs bonus TRIBBLE during that weekend... thats lost.
This weekend event works for the mark boxes you get for trading in winter epohhs, but only for Dyson marks lol.
I went through my characters yesterday to trade in the leftover epohhs at the GPL console on DS9 and noticed I was getting extra Dyson marks. For a 200 mark box I got 300 Dyson marks, for a 100 mark box I got 150 dyson marks, etc.. Glad I waited a little to get rid of the extra rodents.
Way to go! LAG was so bad this morning after struggling for an hour to check the Vendor on New Romulus and 2 consoles, STO crashed my computer! Ain't seen that in a long while!
Had to shut all down and reboot! Eventually got back in the afternoon to do the 2 Sphere dailies. Wanted to also do 2 or 3 other missions but couldn't. Fa-fa-fail-la-ti-da!

Oh boy more Dilithum ore.. ORE to add to my already 250k ore backlog. Ore is worthless in this event, make it Refined Dilithum and people will play it.
So is this in place of the 3 hour Bonus Marks event? Cause I get about 850 FMarks during that time, and I'm already T5 Dyson, and still have points left over after all my gear.
The Dyson Battleground is so much better, (not only fun IMO) but so easy to get marks they are almost a byproduct for my real purpose there, to get Voth Implants. Plus the 3600 dilithum ore is nice, then after the T-Rexes are down, just zone hop to another instance, capture a few points, and boom T-Rexes are up again, more Voth Implants and 400 to 2600 dilithum ore. Plus you need Voth Implants for the gear, do you even get that in the Spire Space zone?
Romulans marks need more sources for sure, I don't really care for the PvEs you souly get them from, Azura, Valt. I don't even bother with the shuttle PvEs.
Or in Federation Fleet Alert, the Borg will show up at times, but do I get Omega marks.. NO, so I just leave when they show up, If I wanted to fight Borg, I'd do the Cure, Conduit, Vortex space PvEs for Omega Marks.
The PvEs should all have Choice Marks, and give choice marks from all 5 available pools, Fleet Marks, Omega Marks, Romulan Marks, Nukara Marks, Dyson Marks. That would allow us to play the content WE enjoy, but still get a true CHOICE MARKS.
Or just trash the whole system and make one EuroMark that you spend on any Reputation you choose.
Bring back Elachi gate PvE, that was truly fun and quick.
And yes Cryptic does have fuzzy math skills where 100% reduced time is actually half the time.
Exactly... I was just trying to help capture the Industrial area when the server crashed at 508 am PST. It took about 30 minutes for them to post the message but the red button show the server was down was up immediately... The server went down HARD!!! QAPLA!
Whose idea was this? First you create this mindless zerg gameplay, then you try to force us into certain content by skewing the rewards. Now you want to tell us what day and time to play? Knock it off! :mad:
Put the Marks event back on the calendar! Some of us prefer not to spend our weekend grinding which is why you put the calendar in in the first place! Let us get stuff on OUR schedule, not yours. The weekend bonus doesn't impress me as I grind as little as possible on as few toons as possible anyway.
Also Nukara and Romulan are the worst reputations because the events are sooooooooooo stingy with Mark rewards. Now you're nerfing their bonus marks times which will kill them outright. I certainly won't grind them on any more toons now (I am done grinding them on my mains thankfully). Not to mention Fleet Marks, dear God you're nerfing small fleets again.

Marks even is STILL ON the calendar! I ended up getting 140 Dyson marks per STF over this past weekend when bonus marks was running. Plus the missions in the Allied area, almost 1700 Dyson marks in about 2-3 hours PLUS the Dil for finishing the missions and STFs. Once I turned in the marks for Dil, I had over 21,000 for very little work. Now, that was just one run, I've done more since then.
You are right, why should they do anything at all? They certainly dont have to, except give us another middle finger, I think what I and others are saying it would be a courteous outreach to say sorry, what the hell one more day! Its not as if whole banks of techs have to work to keep the event functioning, they just flip a switch. Leave it on its not hurting anything.
I seem to remember they once extended a Q XP bonus event because of a malfunction of some kind so its not out of the realm of possibility.

First I am not complaining about anything, I am simply saying it would be good customer service, which they lack. And no I am not entitled to anything free or otherwise, not sure where you got that idea from. Yes tensions seem high, I didnt come here to fight but to discuss it seems others have a different agenda. So duke it out all day in the forums if it makes you feel better about yourselves. I'll go do something productive.
