Just so people that care about this kind of stuff see it clearly, if you haven't gotten the 4 accolades from "War is Good For Business", get them while you can. Once Cryptic releases season 8.5, you're out of luck because it's going away FOREVER!
I am NikkoJT, Foundry author and terrible player. Follow me!
There used to be a picture here, but they changed signatures and I can't be bothered to replace it.
That quest didn't fit the game all that well, but minimal/non combat quests, as I recall this being are few and far between, so I'll be sorry to see it go... Unless they bring it back as a standalone quest like the Cardassian ship captain in orbit of Bajor, or Quarantine on Deep Space K-7... Ditch the regular reward, and chuck in a pittance of... Espionage(?) experience.
I care. I'd rather not see content removed entirely regardless of how badly it is perceived to be. Whilst it may not belong in the plot-line, I'd still love to see it remain in the game - Even if it is only on the holodeck (Which in my opinion should have at least one mission, just to fit in with the constant Star Trek theme of the holodeck malfunctioning and nearly killing everyone).

Isn't that the one where we resolve a bar fight by killing everyone in the room? Or was that Treasure Trading Station?
Why the hell are they canning this mission but keeping Divide et Impera?
They've only revamped up to the end of the Klingon War Arc. So the first 20 levels only. And this is only the first patch. I assume they'll redo the Romulan Arc next.
I'm hoping they get to remaster everything. Especially the Borg and Undine Arcs which are, in my opinion, in real need of a touch up (looking at you, Assimilation!).

I would not call it minimal. It had mostly a good balance in combat but went a bit overboard with the nausicaan ground combat. The mission structure is quite solid and diverse. You have some exploring, some fighting, some detective works and a showdown. Also very stable; never got hit by a bug. In that regard quite enjoyable.
I assume this got canned because as nice as the above sounds, it was kind of patchworked together. You start the mission, you find and scan a disabled Starfleet ship, get some reserachers, examine 3 spots, get attacked by several nausicaan small craft for no reason. -> Act2 warp to homebase of the researchers, beam them to the base and forget the first act of the mission, it like a complete different mission squezzed in that one. Or the other way around. Anyway, help the commander to find out that explosives has been stolen, scan ships, hunt suspect, slaughter massive expensive nausiccan private army of suspect and find out he desperatly stole from starfleet because of low on cash.
Oh, and also this mission LOVES nebula spots that turns off full impulse, but that can be passed quickly with some evasive manouver.
While I too would prefer to see this, gameplay technically very solid, mission stay till it can be remastered; I do understand the writers wish to flush this one from a lore/storytelling perspective.

There is more accolades from other missions missing as well. Like putting out the fires at the Researcher Station in Kessae.
But when it comes to "War is Good for Business", I wish they tell us why they are removing it. I found it interesting with the story plot with the Orions that really never gotten to be told, and the fact we infiltrate a unique base to take down a Ferengi merchant.
But let's not jump to conclusions here. So far I haven't seen an explanation as to why it's being removed despite all the questions about it in the Jan. 10 Tribble server patch notes.
Although they did say that that was only "part" of the season 8.5 changes added to Tribble. So it's quite possible they may revamp the episode and bring it back later, like what they did with the Crystalline Catastrophe event.
Diplomatic talk for trimming/cutting down on content, as if we need that :P. might want ot make it a campaign to get any story/exploration accolades so when they start messing with the other missions you've got them safe.
guess im gonna have to download all tribble through the steam version to find out what the new ones are like. after playing this mission like others from the star i have no motivation to play them again if it can be helped. so if there is a revamp and brings in some foundation to the whole thing that would be nice and since this mission is to be removed and was never apart of the storyline in sto in any way, not that i care its gone.
and someone mentioned the mission was removed because it was badly broken enough that it cant be fixed. but i say that it never fit the storyline so it has no basis to remain.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

They are removing the mission War is Good for Business, so it's 4 accolades won't be accessible.
Because the awesome Foundry Spotlight mission "Divide ut Regnes" fixes it. :P

...oh, THAT one. The one where you gotta chase the D'Kora. God, I hated that mission. I'm glad it's going away.
Man one of these days I'm gonna have to actually play the foundry for stuff other than farm missions :v
It is. As it turns out, both are in the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition. (Rules 34 and 35)

Here here...always hated having to drift around at basic impulse then having to kill all of those Nuasicaan ships.

TRIBBLE Hydra! Hail Janeway!

Terradome was removed from the game so it could be reworked and eventually rereleased later. But that was back in July 2013 when it was removed and still no word on it yet. http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?p=11552021#post11552021
So if they are planning on reworking this episode, we won't see it for a few months at least most likely.

that was borked right from the start and as i recalled it was quietly buried out in the desert and quickly forgotten.
