Title says it all
What are the best games you've played. Any genre, any system. Heck even tabletop or board games! What are the best of the best?
For me:
The original Command & Conquer, Halo (PC), Star Trek: Elite Force and TIE Fighter. And for good measure, the Middle Earth Risk that I made as a kid before there was an official licensed version (I drew the board, made the unit cards, etc.)
Comments
Showing my age now, but a few other games:
Repton & Revs (for the BBC / Acorn) & one called Magic Mushrooms!
Sonic (master system / mega drive)
Space invaders (on the Atari 2600) - simple yet so addictive!
And used to be a big thing for Dungeons & Dragons at school

x3 reunion
star trek online
red alert 2
age of empires 1 and 3
stronghold crusader
age of mythology
star wars ballefront
this is list of some of my favorites
Best of the whole franchise, in my humble opinion. Best driving interface, best variety of vehicles and weapons, best hand-to-hand combat, a friggin' rocket pack. GTA IV was a letdown after that. I finished SA numerous times, but I've never seen the end of IV.
As Trek games go, I loved, LOVED Armada 1. Spent hours goofing off, making and testing my clumsy mods, mostly without involving even a single other person. The only reasons I'm not still playing it are 1) It's an aggravating pain to keep it working on a post-XP OS, and 2) STO.
Five or six years ago, I would have included Starfleet Command III, but almost everything I ever wanted to change about that game (spend a good deal of time modding that one, too) is the way it was done for STO.
StarCraft II (Multiplayer experience only)
Mass Effect Series
The Elder Scroll Series (Mainly TES: Arena & Daggerfall, those were classics)
KOTOR 1
Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (Online duelling experience - was quite good at it )
Baldur's Gate series
Ultima Online
Might & Magic 6 (The rest was kinda meh)
Heroes of Might & Magic II
Warlords I, II
From the SEGA console, when I was reallly little kiddo
Shining Force I
Shining Force II
Shining in the Darkness
Sonic series
Played quite few games through my life, but I'd highlight those, heh.

Europa Universalis
Rome Total War
Age of Empires II
Starcraft
Rock n Roll Racing
Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. I prefer the classics, what can I say?
Baldur's Gate series (especially Throne of Bhaal) wins Best Overall for me. I must've romanced EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER in the game. I definitely romanced Dorn the half-orc blackguard as both a male and a female. Tons of fun. Plus, miniature giant space hamster. Need I say more?
Final Fantasy 7. Sephiroth, baby. Even if I can never spell his name.
God of War, for pure combat. Kratos pwns.
Played Neverwinter Nights--preferred the second one. As a joke, I played NWN2 with 4 separate characters made to look like the SG1 main cast (pre-season 5 edition). It was funniest when I played a Jackson clone as a wizard. Since I suck at support characters, Jackson died a lot. A LOT a lot.
Tomb Raider wasn't a GOOD series, but tons of fun. At least, as a guy.
My 2 slips of latinum.
i think i remember playing that years ago, some things with your custom build that couldnt exactly replicate the other premade builds. and one specific track was annoying what was it, some sort of sci in space track racing mainly in tunnels on a complicated track.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
Wing Commander I - IV (V was okay, but IMO, not great)
Privateer (The first one)
It's probably the main reason I backed, and am looking forward to the eventual completion and release of Chris Robert's Star Citizen as it's probably the closest thing to a true Wing Commander/Privateer type MMO I'll ever see. (The only reason they're not using the WC Universe is CR sold the IP rights lock stock and barrel to EA when EA 'acquired' Orign.
PWE ARC Drone says: "Your STO forum community as you have known it is ended...Display names are irrelevant...Any further sense of community is irrelevant...Resistance is futile...You will be assimilated..."
Final Fantasy 7

All the Mass Effects
Dragon age 1 and 2
Baldur's Gate 1 and 2
Shinning Force 1 and 2
Phantasy Star 4
Freelancer
Galactic Civilaztions 2
I'm also going to include Star Ocean 3. I wasn't well versed in RPG's at the time, and it was a fun experience for me.
And a childhood favorite - Yoshi's Island.

Tabletop - Dark Future (made by GW with model cars you could paint and mod, introduced around the 2nd or 3rd iteration of the table top WH40K)
Amstrad CPC464(+) - The Big Sleep - Text Adventure, Spindizzy, 1942 (Arcade Import), Harrier Attack
PC - STO, WH40K Dawn of War series, Tie Fighter, Duke Nukem 3D (loved being able to make my own maps and still remember the cheat for Godmode)
PS (1,2 & 3) Wipeout, GranTurismo 1-5 (haven't got 6 yet) Crysis, COD: Modern Warfare, Deus Ex (All of them, good story arcs)
Xbox - Star Wars: Battlefront (Didn't like the 2nd one though), Jedi Knight Jedi Academy.
There are almost certainly others but they slip my mind for the moment.

So: computer/console games
Freedom Force vs the Third Reich (Corny, but hilarious, and FUN! In some ways it's like the old Batman TV show, where they didn't try to make everything "realistic")
Diablo 2 (but this is in part due to how much fun it is to mod the game)
STO
Space Empires 5 (WAY too much fun to mod. )
boardgames:
Risk 2210
Risk Legacy
Age of Mythology (note the lack of the AoM videogames. :P It's not that I hate them, but they just weren't as much fun long term.)
