Demons of Air and Darkness

So, the Iconians, which we'll be eventually fighting, have been called the "Demons of Air and Darkness" numerous times.

Since they're "demons", I propose two new items to help combat the threat.

A suit of green combat armor with a visored helmet. Rips and tears on the combat armor optional.

A "pulsewave" that deals pure kinetic damage.

    Don't forget a special Plasma Blast Assault with a massive AE secondary attack... and super-heavy gravity that prevents jumping over foot-high obstacles.

    Wouldn't the definitive weapon against any enemy "of Air and Darkness" be a portable fan with a high-intensity flashlight attached? :P

    Are we going to fight the Iconians though? Or are they in fact extinct, and we're up against Quark who's somehow gained control of some old Iconian tech, is impersonating them, and is after revenge for so many failed schemes...

    Not sure if serious but we've seen iconian ships a few times in game. Best guess is that they are the final enemy faction of STO, which would explain why they weren't released when we first saw them.

    The ships we've seen have been pathetic.

    Why? It took you two dozen shots over 1 minute and a half to take out a Borg cube.


    Took me 30 seconds to take out half a dozen borg cubes.

    We've seen Iconian ships. Or possibly ship, singular, multiple times. That does not mean its being piloted by Iconians.

    ^STO iconians (at least thats the current plan we know of).
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    The Elachi. They're just the Iconians' latest patsies, like the Undine and the Tal Shiar. We haven't gone up against the big boys yet.

    Master chief didnt fight demons. He was considered a demon though :)

    Thinking about it I do wish we could change the colour of the various armours. Replicating doomguy would be my first objective!

    You can change some of the colours of some armours - unfortunately, you can't change the visor colour. If you could, I'd change my MACO set's visor to black, and people would think I was The Stig

    When it's a grinding machine in disguise, it's pretty easy to do. Kill whatever comes at you, spam F, kill some more, spam F, mission done, move to the next. It's not like there are any real story-affecting decisions or anything. Kill the guy at the end of the mission this time, play it again in half an hour and let him go.

    About the only roleplaying I can find in this game would be RPing Bill Murray's character from Groundhog Day.

    As I understand it, there will be a new type of captain in the expansion -- the priest! This new captain will have strong healing and demon banishment abilities and can cause a number of effects on opponents by praying for divine intervention....

    Q's long lost brother, X, will provide deity services and answer prayer requests while teleporting enemy demons into the nearest sun upon successful "banishment".
