Tribbles are not baking from Winter Event Foods

When attempting to bake a Winter Tribble, I cannot seem to get the tribble to eat the winter food.

Reproduction steps:
1. I logged into my Federation/Romulan/KDF character (tested on all 3)
2. I placed the Tribble of Borg and one Winter Food item in my inventory and waited 1 hour
3. No tribble

Also tried with Solanae tribble.

Further testing:

Using Snaildoodles made a Winter Tribble.
Last Year's Fruitcake does not. (And I don't blame them)

    Have you tried with a normal white quality tribble?

    I just finished "finally" getting a recipe, taking to the chef, finding the ingrediants, and had him bake a cake. I got the rewards but no food. How am I to feed a tribble with no food? Also, how do you feed the tribble?

    Did you check your characters items, rather than your inventory?

    What "characters items"? All I can find is the inventory.

    Your character has 4 item slots on his person, its where his weapons and armor and kit are.
    New home of the Romulan Republic.
    I have an idea for what Season 11 should be; Season 11: The Big Bug Fix.

    I see the 4 slots for devices but not anything else. What screen should I be looking at? Better yet, what should I click on to get there?

    Press U and check the device slots.

    I also noticed the tribbles sometimes have problems eating the winter food, but randomly. On my Fed character, it went without any problem using a solanae tribble.

    However, for my KDF, the same kind of tribble + the Nukara one didn't manage to eat my snaildoodles until the day after but ate all the other food I forgot in my inventory way before (and before the day after).

    Both were with only 1 stack of snaildoodles.

    Put any normal tribble in your inventory... make sure the only food in your inventory is ONE of the winter food/drinks. I've found that if food is stacked the tribble will not eat it.

    I have the Winter Tribble on several toons... so they do eat.

    Okay, the inventory and the device slots were the first place I checked when I made the cake. There was no cake.

    I finally got another recipe so I am going to try again. Come to think of it maybe my cake didn't disappear but was eaten by the tribble before I typed "U". So, is there anything special I need to make so feed the tribble to create a Winter Tribble? Or will any winter food work (and if any winter food would do then it didn't).

    I too had a problem with my Fed aligned Rom. Minty Ractajino with 4 tribbles in my inventory would not spawn a Winter Tribble.

    So I placed the winter food in my personal device slot along with a Fleet Tribble and in an hour was a proud owner of a Winter Tribble.

    Keep trying and best of luck.
