Winter Event 2013

I've been inactive for a few days, but I've been keeping one eye on the forums, and (excuse me if I'm wrong), but there seems to be little to no information about this year's winter event.

I had great fun last year and the year before, and I seem to remember Dev Blogs being posted early in mid-November, keeping us hungry for the event (what the prizes/ship were etc). :D

I know we've got a few days before December, but aren't Cryptic leaving it a little late? :confused:

    Don't remember any Dev Blogs a month before the actual event ... modus operandi is 1 or 2 Blogs, few days - week before ... so basically next week, maybe end of this week ...

    Considering christmas 2014 is still a LOOONNG while away don't you think you're a little early with this thread?:confused:

    I agree. We still have Season 9 and then 10 (barring any more "expansions") before we start thinking about Christmas 2014.

    Wow, ummm 2014 winter event? Don't remember the 2013 one must of been drunk.... happy new year! Seriously tho the 29th of this month we should see the " Q's winter wonderland is coming " post, so not to long.

    Q's making his final preparations for this year's Winter Event, we're being told. I've put in a request with his agent for him to stop by at some point in the near future to give us all a hint at what's planned.

    We'll also have a few Dev Blogs about the event posted up to the site before it starts.

    Oh brandon you big tease, I think I can say for a lot of people, the winter event is worth waiting for! Seriously its so close I can taste the snow ( dont judge me cauz its yellow! ).

    Temporal anomalies are a pain that way. Just something time-traveling Starfleet officers have to learn to put up with.

    If you think we have it bad, you should see how they have it in the Department of Temporal Investigations.

    Yeah, that tends to be the case when they haven't released any information. They'll get around to it before the event goes live.

    Anything else you needed to start another "2013 winter event" thread about? :cool:

    Either way, looking forward to seeing what the event has in store and when it starts. I actually quite enjoyed the (physics and animations of) ice races last year.

    We already got the free obelix carrier ....soooo for the winter event do we get the asterix escort maybe ?

    I'm guessing we'll get a sci ship, but what race is a good question. Breen, Kazon, and Krenim seem like viable candidates.
