Grind solo, no STFs, can't take the annoying BS from people, and Foundry missions.
Other than that, not much.

10% Doffing
5% Dyson Daily (only doing Dyson on my main a the moment)
15% Chatting with fleetmates and taunting in Kerrat
5% Selling things to vendors and on the exchange, filling fleet and rep projects.
5% Running "Spin the Wheel" for Lobi
60% Farming/pseudo PvPing in Kerrat
Lately just working the Exchange, doffing, and doing FEs for the lobi. Used to enjoy STFs but the power creep and competitiveness has ruined those, and don't like the S8 missions. I guess this is what burnout feels like.
burnout? is the lack of wanting doing anything, being so tired of it you retreat back into that psychological safe zone for a while, the dark hole all people have to regenerate their interest by themselves for a while. i have had a few of these in the last few years, mostly through idiot game mechanics, trools (trolls and tools), real life demands that get the better of you.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
about 90% helping people in my fleet be that helping a newbie with missions they are having trouble with or helping new players in the fleet understand tactics for STF elite play, helping them with ship builds, boff builds for ground play, and anything else they need help with.
The other 10% I devote to playing the rep game and while I have 15 characters only one of them has any rep at all...;)
Hello, all! I am conducting a poll. What do you do on STO?
I guess a lot of it depends on the day. And are you asking as of Season 8, or over all, or what?
I can tell you I log on. Usually get on a few characters and finish and restart their rep.
Recently I get on a character and repeat a Feature Episode to get lobi. But that's only until December.
After that, I may grind for Dilithium on about 6 characters.
After that I may or may not then do a rep grind. Recently it's been Dyson, but that can change, based on my mood. Somedays I'm grinding out the last 1000 or so Omega marks I need. Other days it's grinding out the last 300 or so Romulan marks.
The rest is usually socializing or RPing (standard RPing, not Drozana RP), as the mood fits me
Oh and from time to time I DOff... just because why the heck not. It's not doing anything for me any more, but sometimes you just want to DOff for old times sake.
Edit: And with the upcoming Winter event, I'll probably drop most of my Rep grind to do that. And with the recoming of Friday the 13th in December, that day I'll regrind out a few more of those missions.
Taco fang one of these days you need to get an avenger name it tacofangs and start calling those vatas fangs so that the Tacofang can run as an inside joke..
I would say 89% of my time in STO is Grinding. No seriously. Working on Fleet Marks during the events, working on Dilithium, Starbase Work, and now Dyson Reputation.
- Grind rep system items to progress the rep
- Grind fleet holding items to progress the fleet levels
- STFs
- Foundry when I'm bored, but some of them are getting more buggy
What do I do? I have 6 toons.
Starting with doffing... that can take 1-3hrs depending on how much stuff I decide to do or how much time I have after work or class. If I need to sell doffs, play doff musical chairs with the mail, exchange and an alt account I made just to store doffs on! (Thanks for the non-infinite mail Cryptic! ) Or if I desire to go hunting for the high paying doff missions by DS9 or etc.
If I have any time after that, I do Dyson stuff on my main toon.
30% of my time is doing content in order to get fleet marks. This includes dailies that yield fleet marks. Except for pvp dailies. Because lol pvp.
20% of my time is spent [REDACTED]
10% of my time is spent roleplaying.
10% of my time is doing group content in the form of Elite STFs
10% of my time is spent doing doff missions.
5% of my time is spent gaming the exchange to make money using other people's money, or otherwise simply using the exchange to find good deals for myself.
5% of my time is spent on the forums.
5% of my time is spent getting rep projects started (although with Season 8 this will likely be >5%, but it hasn't been out long enough to really be sure).
>5% of my time is spent getting my daily 8k dilithium
Anything else (including not having any rep projects to do) is generally spent socializing, managing my fleet, taking screenshots for my scrapbook, or devoted to one of the other list of things moreso than the other. This is only a rough estimate as I haven't really been anal retentive enough to properly test how much time is spent doing what.
Virtually the only thing I ever do these days is Elite STF. Not much else is worth doing anymore, and some of it is not even worth doing more than once.
And of course, managing fleet stuff in the Ferasan Shadow Force, and Moderator stuff in their CatPhone chat channel.
And there you have it, the extent of my STO playing......STFs, and being Mr Angry Rules Guy......That is the only thing still keeping me playing STO at all......If I had to divide that into percentages, I would have to guess that being Mr Angry Rules Guy is about 80%, while STF is the other 20%......
If I says something about the grinding Dan will come on and say hey don't I remember you saying before f2p you had nothing to do? Then I would says that oh yes there was nothing to do so then I says you win.
