I understand why CBS would not want to allow us to fly the Constitution class at endgame, given that the NX, Oberth and Miranda/Centaur/Shikar classes are also not endgame ships; but there is no logic to disallowing the Exeter/Excalibur/Vesper/Enterprise class when both the Saber/Rapier/Ushaan/Gladius and Nova/Quasar/Aurora/Rhode Island classes are in the fleet shipyards. The only explanation is cruiser hate.
Yeah PWE must just hate cruisers, they havent gotten any love in a very long time. But still they would make so much money off T5 Exeter! A fleet version and a C-store version!
It's so completely frustrating! Truth be told, I got 1-2 characters to Lvl 50 and have only held on to this game in the hopes of MAYBE, someday.... getting a Tier 5 Connie. The Exeter is the PERFECT candidate for this treatment. Make her tier 5, lock out other Connie options, whatever. I would gladly PAY for that privledge! I have settled, and settled, and settled in this game! And BTW, how bout an updated modern TMP CONNIE BRIDGE????

You know what? If I thought for one nanosecond that putting a Fleet/T5 version of the Tier 2 Cruiser with access to the Exeter and Excalibur skins would finally shut up the TOS grognards, I'd be camped outside Cryptic HQ with a megaphone demanding it night and day. But it wouldn't.
In fact, I can practically guarantee that all adding a Fleet/T5 Exeter would do is result in the forums being flooded with even more whinging about a "proper" T5 Connie, because then they wouldn't just be able to pull out "durpa durr Andorian Escort!" nonsense, but they would start with "it looks almost exactly the same, just give us the real Connie skin!".

Well I don't care what Al Rivera says in priority one podcast. Don't release the consitutio. refit skin with it! Make it unique by only having access to the excalibur/Exeter/vesper classes. Yes the Excalibur and vesper remember before launch those ships were FEATURED in the ships of the line dev blogs as being the newest iteration of multi purpose starfleet cruiser vessels? It doesn't matter how old the idea of the ship design shape is its not like they're taking the skeleton of the USS Lexington and slapping new hull and interiors on it.
Cryptic you advertised the aforementioned ship classes as being the new, state of the art, updated successors of the constitution class starship. Let the constitution rest in peace, let the new designs carry into the 25th century and into the 5th tier right along with the t2 science vessel and escort. (Btw let's not forget that people have access to the FLEET EXCELSIOR. Only 20 years older than the constitution class.)
Keep demanding it and they may yet make it one day. I know I'll be looking forward to it. Hell that'll be my first ever "Shut up and take my money!" moment.

Invalid bc the sovereign class is in the game as a t5 and fleet ship. And remember the t5 fleet and fleet excelsior. A hardcore straight from the movie ship design that is only 20 years neweer than the constitution class starship. Remember that people.
