The New episode is out and it's fantastic -however

I just wish there was some way Cryptic could come out with a monthly new episode - that would truly be the most epic announcement.

Ps - the New carrier is a beast!! Please make the next lock-box include anti-proton weapons - they are frickin awesome!!

    It's great, a huge step above the last one in terms of quality and story.

    HOWEVER -- I am very pissed at the decision to lock the console behind a pay-wall. I decided not to buy any more Lobi ships after the disappointment that was my 800-lobi sharp-pointy dreadnought.

    How about making a version that we can earn some other way. Some way not involving a metric TRIBBLE-ton of grinding or $200 worth of keys.

    You kidding there isn't a game out there or company out there that can keep up with that. though with Star Citizen on the horizion, guy can hope that will shake up the industry and this lack of content BS will change.

    Star citizen will not have missions. It is purely a sandbox game. Fly off into space and do grind activities: mine asteroids for credits, discover planets for credits, kill pirates for credits, set up boom gates for credits, bounty hunt players and npcs for credits, and so on. You are never going to see anything like this sphere mission in star citizen.

    Perhaps monthly is too much, but ever other month should be possible and the payoff of keeping players active would be huge.

    Now back out there as I have to run this like 30 times!!

    Guess people here never heard of Jagex.

    Jagex is an MMO developer known for providing new content almost weekly, and have in the past introduced new Quests as frequently as monthly.

    Just one more thing to show that they want you to buy your toys, not earn them. PWE=P2W.

    Mission wasn't bad, but it was short in terms of actual story. It was mostly just a bunch of puzzles. I will admit that one of the puzzles made me giggle. ;)
    You know Cryptic has Jumped the Proverbial Shark when they introduced Tractor Pulling to Star Trek Online! :D

    I agree totally with you. I have 10 toons, functioning playing toons. I am not going to run this FE 20x to get the two parts from there then spend 10,000 LOBI are you truly insane cryptic? I mean really you want us to play multiple toons? You want us to spend money on extra toon slots? I understand you want us to spend to grear them, but how much would it cost me to gear all 10 of my working toons with these carriers?

    Really, we know about how many lobi comes outta each box, we know about how much keys cost (real life money I don't got billions of credits to buy 10 of them off the exchange).

    You want my money, earn it. This.. this does not earn it. "We're going to give you a nice new carrier, with fancy special set. But, you gotta pay lobi on each toon wants that carrier the good one, the one that has a whole set. Yes, TRIBBLE you player."

    That is what I hear. Note, I am a lifetime member with 5 PAID C-Store (cough zen store) ships, those were actually worth it. 20 bucks to open a ship on 3 toons is more reasonable than hundreds to open up ships on my toons. You are certifiable.

    And infraction me for violation of your extensive TOS, like I was for saying old stfs stunk, I notice they got changed a few months later.

    Holy whine batman - I have 30 toons and perhaps 10 to 15 that I will run this on - or 30 total runs - do I need to do it - no

    You get the ship for free and you have 35 days to do it- you are self entitled to think you should get a free ship and consoles on all your toons just running it once.

    No one is asking you to spend a dime!!

    Call me a Cryptic apologist if you want, but it seems like the free ship and free mission is a reasonable deal.

    I feel you bro...after getting my Jem'Hadar Dreadnought, I decided never again, especially since I don't even have a full interior for all that money I spent on the ship. All I get is a bridge.

    That was funny because I've been thinking the same thing. The only difference between it and X3:Rebirth is that Star Citizen looks better (more eye candy). But it's still the same make money grind.

    I would like to finish my closing argument, by saying that I don't like how the ship is bascially an Engeering version of my Atrox. After you've piloted a death dealer such as a Jem'Hadar Dreadnought, you can't go back to a "support carrier".
    One day Cryptic will be free from their Perfect World overlord. Until that day comes, they will continue to pamper the whales of this game, and ignore everyone that isn't a whale.

    No one is forcing you to do anything.

    They are giving you a free ship, and two pieces of a set for free on as many characters as you want for about 20 minutes work. Why in gods name would you want the same ship on 10 different toons to begin with? And why would you then even contemplate the advanced version on any more than one?

    What's the point of having multiple characters of you give them all the same stuff?

    Yeah I got 16 toons I play all the time and I plan on getting lots of them this ship. I love the mission its a great story and I can't believe you would cry about it ..but whatever floats you boat, better to be thankful and have less stress about things I think..;)

    Why isn't the upgraded version of the ship in the Spire Fleet holding, it makes more sense for that to be there then other fleet ships that have nothing to do with the Dyson Sphere. I probably won't bother getting the free version regardless though, 9 console ships are so 2 years ago.

    Guess I'll just wait and see how the ship does and maybe trade a Jem dread or a Mobius for it, but no way I'll get 800 more lobi for it.

    agree the 800 lobi ships are way to much for what you get
    i think they need to remove those boxes and put it in z store

    then do it 3000 zen a bit more
    but spending 200 a 300 euro to get a ship is for me to much

    its a nice wy for PW to earn mony but i think it much be fun to
