1st Random Setting Match for TD Tournament

    http://nova-coregaming.enjin.com/gallery/m/8896801/detail/98834#pid=1526507

The match apparently ended about 2 minutes earlier though with regulus dropping from the red team (explains why the increase for our team points). Didnt get an earlier screenshot with red team winning but the 9/9 makes blue look better lol

    GG All :) Game on!

EDIT: Official Match Scores across the board.

    Thanks to the participants.

    Link to the final match

It was a hard fought final. Last kill won it all.

    Congratulations to all who participated.

Next time I'll try to not host in on a day light saving day....lol Sorry.

See you guys in the next one. Thanks again to all the participants for making it a fun filled drama free event :)

Congrats to the guys that pulled out the win.

What an Epic ending coming down to one kill takes it.

Shows how well the TD style rules can work... after going through 3 rounds the 2 teams to come out being that evenly matched.

I hope everyone had a ton of fun, myself I can't be happier to have seen so many new faces as well as so many of us old decrepit types.

Thanks Naz for sitting out and organizing such a great day of PvP. Very well done.

Have to agree. Thanks Naz for taking the lead on this and doing it so well.

Regarding the TS issues, I'll be updating the server next week. I haven't reloaded the system since late 2007 and it appears there is a issue.

But regardless, thanks all. It was a good fun day. Nice to see such a good turn out and no drama just made it all that much better!

We were doing well for a bit there Waff. Couple of things we should have reacted to a bit better tho.

As long as everyone had fun killing bad guys is all that matters. And we take something away from the matches to impact our builds and our game play.

Thanks for organizing the matches Naz. I think this should be a monthly thing. Get on it bro!!!

2 days in a year for Naz to get timezone mixed up, and no-BS was held in one of those days. What are the odds? :p

Nevertheless, it was very accommodating of Naz and I would like to thank him very much for organizing this fantastic tournament.

And to clarify, it did not come down to one kill for the final match. The teams were tied 12-12 at the end of set time limit (45 minutes). The match was to be decided on a sudden death, and we came oh-so-close to getting the crown. End of story, two of us died to a single alpha which included everything from BO3, CRF, TS, isometric charge and tetryon cascade. The super-buffed tet-cascade alone did 25k damage to me in 3 consecutive application. Nerf Zenith Nader. Well, anyway, well played guys, very well played :D

And a shout out to members of my team, team 13. Especially the healers, Mr. Epohh and Renim, who did a fantastic job of keeping us alive in face of some very intimidating opposition. :)

Yes, we had a very good team, and excellent healers. Good job all, and congrats to Team 7 on your well earned win.

I think it would be a great way for their QA/playtesters to have a little fun with us. Surely they have the mechanics figured out pretty well.

Okay ... this was my first tournament and I quickly learned the hard way that my BOgai build wasn't up to the task. As a result I wasn't exactly an asset to my team, though I'm still surprised that I only died twice (and I would definitely like to know how nebulgamnezar could see me through my cloak ... damn you and your thricedamned bugship :P). Sorry team 5, congratz to team 6 for defeating us. Also I really should disable ingame sounds in case I should decide to participate in another tournament. Most of the time I couldn't understand what my teammates were saying (and this was made even worse by the fact that english isn't my first language).

Thank you, naz, for organizing this tournament. Next time I will be better prepared :)

We could leave all the data for the impending SW:ToR ship combat update on a hard disk, and set a trap?
