First, all we do is pew. And then pewpew.

Second, we know the TSABC looks strikingly close to the Narada, without voiding licence stuffs.

And now, we now also have the Avenger resembling the JJprise.

Furthermore, this ship is named and comes with the console like the villain does (except according to tech notes, the villain didn't install his console, resulting in a huge hole in the saucer).

This makes it a two-in-one reference for those who have been demanding a JJprise or a Dreadnought-class. In effect, you got both at once.

I should've noticed this earlier... Guess that's one more reason to love/hate the Avenger.

I must disagree with you the avenger doesnt look one bit like the JJPrise but there is a ship ingame that does

    Exeter

    the JJprise

Now those two look almost identicle

The Avenger and the JJprise almost look nothing alike.

They were referring to the USS Vengeance not the Enterprise.

The Avenger and JJPrise or JJVengeance don't look nothing alike. The JJVengeance saucer wasn't finished with a large holes in it. Making a weaker structure. The nacelle pylons was sticking out of the shuttle bay area. Making power flow to the nacelles almost impossible. Compared to the Avenger. Where everything is more in position, and no gaping holes in the saucer. The Avenger looks like the Intrepid, Odyssey got together and had a child. And perhaps the Vesta somehow got mixed in as well.

The ones who thinks they are the same, need to look again. Needs to see an eye doc.

Those ships look nothing alike in the slightest. Stop bogarting the joint.

just so you know, the comics pre-jjtrek, star trek countdown, had nero and its crew with the tatoo, it also had cryptic federation uniform design, and it tied in part of the cryptic backstory(like picard becoming federation ambassador to vulcan and data becoming the captain of the enterprise-E).

i'm pretty sure cryptic must have gotten permission from CBS to put that tatoo ingame.

They've said as much: the first ten movies, the shows and the comics are all sources for STO along with some parts of certain novels.
I can't quite fathom why people tend to totally ignore the comics, proably because otherwise they would have nothing to base their argument on.

Anyone who passed basic shapes in Pre school can tell the avenger and Enterprise09 look nothing a like....the Avenger looks more like a smaller Vengence than the Enterpsie.

The Avenger looks nothing like ant of the JJ ships at all, the Avenger Refit (Fleet) does however look like a beefed up Intrepid Class.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Isn't it amazing how starting from a 'False Premise', can usually get the forums to light up a bit around here.

The only thing the Star Trek '09 Enterprise and the new STO Avenger have in common is they both have a Primary hull, a Secondary hull and Two Nacelles.

    This is a no brainer.

When it comes to things from Star Trek 09 like Nero's tattoo, red matter and even Romulus going boom.

All these things where in the Star Trek countdown comic which cryptic has the licence to.
