If the problem is being caused by your ISP, or by the Trans-Atlantic cable provider their using, then there is nothing Cryptic/PWE can do to correct the problem.
Run the 'Net Test' and 'Trace Route' network diagnostics described in this thread...

and what place can be lpl ? place with bos is evidently boston with realy big spike, if lpl is on us continet, it is evidently us side problem.
ps pls forum suport ADD suport for unicode (or it is utf-8 ? ) - since some letetrs dont show properly.
You are correct. that the Cogent Boston Hub, (the destination for several Trans-Atlantic cable links) is having issues. You should post these results in the Networking section of the PWE Tech Support Forum, so that the PWE techs are aware of this, and can kick Cogent a few more times with this information...
Tried following above thread - still cannot get passed ARC loader. I "seem" to update ok, but 10 times a day (yes I'm that anal) I get a ooops we crashed box. Looking for some help here or maybe a refund.
STO was really fun and worth the money before ARC.
