The patch notes state: Captains can now choose to remove the "U.S.S.", "I.K.S" or "R.R.W. from ALL LOCK BOX SHIPS
The Wells is a lockbox ship, it has the U.S.S. prefix, it cannot be removed, the patch notes did not specify all lock box ships except the Wells. I really don't care that much to be honest as I would still leave it USS, however if this has slipped through then it needs to be looked at.
Ohh, okay. I see what you mean. I apologize about that.
I serious doubt that, "Dreadnought" lost its meaning after WWI because it was to deference the pre-Dreadnought Battleships from the ones after, since most of those were retired from service.
About every Battleship after the HMS Dreadnought was a Dreadnought, that includes the Iowa and New York classes because they were 1914 and 1943 but I doubt the Navy ever called the Iowa class a "dreadnoughts battleship" since they were build as Battleship Escorts for Fast Carrier Task Forces as they were WWII Battleships, that when "Dreadnought" completely lost its meaning, not to mention on the US Navy hull symbol all Battleships were either B (pre-1920) or BB (post-1920), there is a BBG (Battleship, Guided Missile) but never assigned.
Sorry but on the Iowa I serious doubt that it was ever called that, New York? WWI so yes but classification? never ... Also that is true to all navies, "Dreadnought" was never used as a classification.
While you are correct in some instances, I was refering to the so called "european" spelling issue. And I listed the wrong class. It was the Iowa and Dakota class I was thinking of, as I am/was brown dirt Navy rather than a fleet f$#%. The N.Y. class were considered escorts, but the Iowa and follow ons had the dreadnought classification semiofficial, as to avoid any misunderstanding about the London treaty accords limiting weight and naval rifle calibres.

I believe they meant all alien lockbox ships.

Yes, I did. I misunderstood thinking he was looking for something else.
Also, I just saw a Time Ship with I.S.S.. I'm not sure why you can't change your prefix.

The Destroyer is a terran ship and has always been able to use the I.S.S. prefix. The wells cannot.
